I will use a flintlock while my depraved no honor enemy uses an AR-15.
All that counts is how fast they die not some BS excuse for using crap builds.
What Are The Meta Builds That I Am Not Supposed To Use?

You're using Endo-Steel, you unskilled crutchwarrior. True skilled Mechwarriors use Ferro-Fibrous instead of Endo-Steel.
Also, you should use SHS if you want to have any level of heat management skill whatsoever.

I made it better because I dislike half tons of ammo. I removed the doubles but couldnt remove the endo without doing way more work than I wanted to...

SRMS are better at brawling though, that's why they are used SO much in competitive play. Laser vomit is not the end all solution. The disorder and randomness of the public queue just make it typically a solid option.
SRMS arent OP though, they require a lot of skill to use correctly, they are powerful sure, but again can only brawl. Lasers might not brawl JUST as good but it doesnt really matter when they are evaporating components in high alpha bursts. In scouting especially it seems rather easy to simply back pedal and let em have it. Except the oxide, it needs its cooldowns reduced to 5 percent.
SRMS also cant be focused as easily, its a lot easier for 2 laser players to melt one thing at a time than it is for 2 srm players EVEN IF the SRM players are really good with them. the danger of massed coordinated laser vomit is still far too large to ignore and i rightfully fear it more than a whole pack of charging srm jockeys, at least i can run away from the srm guys, lasers? i will die tired.

But... why are SRMs used so much in competitive play then?
The answer is because their advantages over lasers are significant enough that the downsides are not an issue. I'm not making this up, take a look at some competitive matches. There are SRMs EVERYWHERE.
In the group queue, if you load up on top tier brawler mechs with SRMs, it is actually pretty easy (a couple of maps make it hard) to just bullrush the enemy and just roflstomp the laser vomit mechs into the ground. All it takes is teamwork and everybody on the same page.
