Im bored of constant Team Death Match that is Quick Play, and with the release of Phase 3 Faction Play I have given up hope of anything good coming from Community Warfare or Faction Play or whatever that train wreck is called these days....

When can we have PvE?

1. Can you please add a 'faction population percentage' value to the FW map so the community can better coordinate/ balance the player base? I believe this would be a good step to preventing ghost drops without displaying the numbers.

2. In scout, as an attacking pilot awaits and his drop ship arrives, everyone alive that can escape have to counter intuitively sit in the open. Can we tighten this up somehow? I suggest a docking procedure and adding an unlock-able AA ordnance for the defenders for successfully preserving enough data points? This will provide a secondary objective aside from 'KOS' in order to win AND adds 'in-game' value to the data points they are trying to protect.

3. In scout, defenders struggle with last-second clock-shield victories (last second sprint to LZ) . Can we apply a sudden death/ contest timer to counter this? Example: If an escapee takes damage while the drop ship is at the LZ, add a few second penalty to the timer/ sole pilot . Apply a cool down threshold to this stack rule for balance. This stack rule should never be equal or greater than the penalty.

1) MG needs more crit/dmg
Can you fix that?

2) Tiers are meaningless now.
Can we have zero based psr matches?
(for Russ: "a zero based sum" means that some guys will have a positive psr match and their tier goes up, while some other guys will have a neg. psr match and their tier goes down. Total psr sum among 24 players = 0).

3) Don't you think that with 8 vs 8 would
- ) be easier to get a match
- ) easier for the MM to pick 16 guys from the same tier than 24
- ) easier to get a cw match, since now many play scouting mode and invasion que is getting fewer players than before ?
Also, why does Russ think that 12 vs 12 is better? I would like to know good reasons

Now living. I wonder when will repair the AMS vs Streaks ?? And the speed of the mech arms vs. When they will be repaired because with the new mod Fight 4 vs 4 can not use all tactics to technology mech not work right. So to get the most take advantage of all the factors in the fight. Strength, and more innovations plz When is the X weapons ?? Posted Image

I'd rather let defenders shoot at the dropship. Let's say 25% HP of it gone - timer starts again and this dropzone is cancelled, while the dropship will appear elsewhere. This rewards early spotting of the dropzone and doesn't make it terribly harder for attackers. Just gives some time to find a scout for defenders at the cost of damage caused by the dropship.

But that's a defferent topic.

Another Question for townhall:
4. LBX ammo swap??? any plans to make LB how it is supposed to be?

5. Propoer critical hit system? Sensors, actuators, engine crits? Might refresh the mechanic a lot!

6. Lower arm actuators. Many know that they are working different way than in tabletop (you don't need them to turn your arms right and left there). This hurts a lot for some chassis: Warhawks, Diewolves, Shadow Cats, Jenners, etc. Can it be fixed?

Good idea actually, I remember that from some old shooter games. Capturing the first stage was tough, but then your spawn moves to a favorable spot and you have a better shot at taking the objective from there.

2) Is 1 vs 1 happening in the future/ when Solaris will be implemented?

3) Decals?

4) pve?

5) new cw maps or maybe implementation of maps like Polar or Alpine in cw together with a new gamemode?

How can anyone seriously ask about mech packs in a time when the game is so unstable?

When will you fix the constant disconnectiom error people keep having?
When will you fix the alt+tab issue where you come back to the cursor on the screen?
When will you fix the frame rate drop issues people have been receiving?
When will you fix the unable to drop bug in fw?
When will we receive saveable drop decks for fw?
When will you finally address the lengthy saving times for any sort of mech modification?
Where are the purchasable resources or planetary benefits we were promised for phase 3?
Who is going to answer for the glitches in phase 3?
Who programmed the long Tom? Why did the head shot issue even exist? Why can it's damage pass through terrain/elevation?

Most importantly: WHERE IS THE PROMISED BAN WAVE? Russ spent all this time talking a big game to have no action.

I don't wish to be negative but at a time when we are hemmorhaging players shouldn't these be our concerns more than whatever shiny thing is out there? Before we get Solaris, before we get PVE, let's fix this damned game.

Does the population percentage in the Faction Warfare Contract page only count active Faction Warfare players or does it just add up every account with say a Clan Wolf Tag?

Nice!

Can we get an update on the following please:

1) Jump Jets: When will their full functionality be restored so that they actually "Jump?"

2) Collisions: When will they be returned to the game? I'm really tired of warping like this (3:00 minute mark):



3) Knock downs: We really need these back in the game. It's an essential part of MechWarrior! Plus, we can't have Death from Above without them.

4) Economy and Trade: When will players be able to have an MWO economy and trade system similar to what we had in other MechWarrior games?

To the webmanager at PGI, although the dates on this thread and the image included in the first post have been updated, I still see the thumbnail image on www.mwomercs.com as showing "April 28th".

Not very realistic to go back at this point.

My personal ideal of Faction Play/Community War would have been Clan forces as a limited number of spots which the player-base would compete with each other over limited ranks and mechs. IS/house forces would be the rest of the playerbase and pretty much the same as currently implemented. This was obviously not how things were going to be implemented once Clan Wave 1 was announced.

We will see how this weekend goes with freelancers and units back to sharing the same pool.
