How can you say that when I have the highest legit scores I have ever seen in faction play? One guy I seen get a score as good as mine and he got banned. Another guy matched it and he was meeting the opposite team on the side while they shot past him at me while he took them down.

Wait...Are you saying you always have the highest score in faction play unless other people have scores that aren't legit? Or are you talking about a one time high score? What kind of scores are we talking about?

It is very often I get high score on my team or top 3 at the least. Maybe 80% of faction invasion matches. Top score for both teams has happened quite a few times but not as often obviously.

My highest damage for invasion was 3300 I think but I have gone over 3k 10 times maybe. Top mechs was 15 that was once. Gone over 10 a few times. I seen one guy do 15 and get banned and I seen another hit 16 but the other team was meeting him on the side of play and letting him shoot them. I was one of the few actually playing that match.

I was maybe the first or one of the first to reach top rank in faction play so I have a lot of experience with it and seen it all.

For what it's worth, Dad can be watching Netflix in his bedroom, Mom can be watching a different Netflix show in the kitchen, any one of my own three computers could be downloading steam updates, I can be streaming my gameplay in HD on twitch while also myself being a watcher in a music stream and yet I don't lag at all in the slightest; I ping 15-20ms to Texas servers in these conditions regularly. I have 1000mb upload speed and 1000mb download speed Google Fiber internet.

While the overall load on your connection is a factor, unless you have the hardware+software to specifically throttle every device connection going through your router, it's going to treat every single device as a priority and give the lions share of the bandwidth to whichever devices are attempting to use it... That puts MWO and every other info-streaming Game at the bottom of the proverbial ladder since their demand isnt all that much compared to Music, Video and Data transfer streams.

Most residential routers do not come with the software to assign device-specific bandwidth governors, but there's a few free firmware programs out there that can do it. I had to install one on my TWC router because even with a 70Mbps connection, my roommate's two kids were hogging it all with their simultaneous Music + Youtube + Live Video chat + Xbox with their friends was getting out of hand... Now they get 6 each, and when they start helping pay for it, they can have more .

Ok but are you saying you have never seen someone top that besides those 2? Or do you think all the times that you have seen it, it wasn't legit? Because while those are decent scores I would think someone that long ago reached top rank would have seen higher a good amount of times. I know I've seen it and done it myself plenty of times and never noticed anything odd when I did see it.

I have a number of 4000+ and 20+ kill FW matches from the days of old. Depends entirely on the lay of the land to hit such numbers.

Yep, you basically need a bunch of things to just go your way. Something like both teams to be engaging but not be focus firing very well, maybe shooting well out of optimal range. Both teams need to be about equal skill with a little bit of aggression but not to much. Also you need to die and get a new mech at the right time, you don't want to be waiting to drop while battles are going on. Oh and good arty strikes helps too.

This game has always had hitbox issues. Not as bad as it used to be during the beta/alpha days.

Just saw a guy with a ping around 300 teleporting everywhere.
