I don't know what you and Russ are smoking, but MW:2 and Mercenaries was one of the better selling games of all time for Activision, with maybe couple of million boxes sold? For real money, not "free to play" shite. Could Russ show some figures that confirm they actually beat the sales of MW2, MW3, MW4? I seriously doubt it.

I doubt they beat the sales but through the power of inflation and highway robbery. What used to cost around $13.00 for a mech pack that added 4 mechs, maps, and weapons but in MWO online its around $20.00 for a single mech. Oh and lets not forget for about $70.00 you get all the variants of a SINGLE battlemech. That's a price of a complete game.

I wonder why I have yet to spend a dime on this game Posted Image

"Buff MGs?"

"Plans for gamemodes that aren't glorified deathmatch?"

"Non-mech assets?"

"New tech?"

"Return of R&R? Plans for more aspects of economy?"

"Collisions?"

"Ammo count normalization?"

"Artemis incorrectly affecting streaks?"

"Info Warfare quirks?"

"Convergence?"

"Heat Scale changes? Power Draw details?"

These aren't hard questions, why don't I see them come up that much? I guess I just don't know what I'm talking about.

"They may have the data, but they sure as hell don't know how to use it."

This is a good shirt quote.

Maybe on one side is a Russ quote on the other a scathing, searing bite from the pleebs?

The joke is that we as players pay to keep the servers active, yet get treated like we cannot see the problems in the game. Thus our suggestions and concerns go unheard due to playerbase fragmentation, unless we can band a majority to attempt a veto on a ridiculous idea that slipped into live servers anyways. That's an old joke. Old hat round these parts.

Secondary objectives for Faction Play and even in quick play would spruce things up a bit.

There is so much they can do, but won't, which is boggling.

Domination. Bubble in one place. No one considered an alteration to the mode where it jumps around? Maybe don't even tell us. Sometimes it stays in one place, some times it picks up and plops down somewhere else.

Any kind of surprise element is cool.

I'd say they should use their imagination, but since they leased an IP from someone else....imagination may not be in abundance.

I'll tell you who has imagination. The player base. We've imagined a game better than it is for the last 5 years!

ZINGER!

I read that in a Old West drawl. That made my morning.

I posted it with that accent in mind. Print on screen somehow carries intent.

We could also whip the cat or dog with it or even fend off intruders, using it to strangle them to death like in more than a few films. No phones. No cords. No protection, I say.

Heck, I remember when gangsters would beat a man to death with a phone. Now, with cell phones, neither party wants to crack their screens.
