So, we all know how wildly unstable this current client is.

What I don't like is that when you crash, your team gets penalized for you "leaving the match early."

I recommend that this "penalty" for being forcibly thrown out of a match be removed until such time as PGI manages to stabilize their client system.

It's 10 seconds. I'm pretty sure our team mates can deal with a 10 second delay.

Honestly, I haven't had a crash to desktop or freeze as long as I dare to remember back. At least not in the last three months. And i'm running my CPU overclocked and at the same time undervolted. So, if there'd be a PC prone to crashing, it should be mine. And it doesn't - at least with MWO.

Maybe for steam its 10 seconds... for everyone else its 1 min for a simple disconnect from game server kickback to the mechlab. Complete server crash to the password screen you can add 30 seconds to that. If the whole client freezes requiring it to shutdown/restarter, it'll be about 3 minutes.

Whats really fun is when the game runs fine for about 2 maps and then on the third it starts heavily loading and you're playing like a clip show with having to wait for screen update every 10 seconds.

we need a system that prevents logged in players to get directly into the mechlab. The mechlabs "connection" takes way too long if one has many mechs. It makes srashing and hopping back into the game, a real time consuming task.

It is impossible to "stabilize" so horribly rubbish game like mwo is. PGI suck and it is visible on each aspect of the game. Especially in the engine area ...

I've had my client crash and then I get the 2 minute wait penalty.

Me too. And at the end of the match I got told that I didn't earn any rewards because I wasn't able to rejoin in less than 2 minutes, which was a bit rough.

However, life went on regardless.
