"All show, no go" doesn't interest. I don't care what it looks like as long as it's functionally superior to an aesthetically more appealing variant. Feel free to look good as you disintegrate if that's your motivation.

Everyone likes different stuff; but one doesn't impact the other. Looking cool or not has no bearing on in game performance.
And the Kodiak? It's not looking like it's going to be a pushover.
