Using The Weapon Bay Door Button For Other Cool Stuff. Send In Your Ideas!

But now PGI has given the Kodiak these cool retractable claws...
Which makes me wonder... If the weapon bay door button can actually just be used as a general-purpose "event" button, then what sort of cool features could we add to Mechs that can be turned on and off?
- Glowing Atlas Eyes
They can be off by default, and turned on when you want to make yourself look more imposing.
Other ideas?

Laser Heatsinks cause the Night Gyr to glow in the visible spectrum... But this can give yourself away... So maybe use the Event Button to enable/disable glow (disabled by default, perhaps) so the Mech can be used as competitively or as amusing as you want it to be.

Add to that the eye glow for mechs like the Atlas, Panther, etc. Maybe a toggle for other claws/hand features.

- Spider glowing web
- Raise Zeus shoulder wings
- Raise Cicada chirpy insect wings
- Raise Mist Lynx skirt, Marilyn Monroe style.
- Make the Storm Crow and Viper move their tiny hands like this:

Wouldn't that slightly ruin the point of the (simulated) laser heat sinks? As far as I am aware the Night Gyr will be immune or highly immune to ambient temperatures. Great on hot maps, Bad on cold maps.
The glowing only really strongly appears when you are quite hot. (Thermal view would see you easier either way so disabling the glow or not will do no difference for people who use thermals)
I do not like the idea of people disabling the glow (unless it's performance issues which that is the enemies and team mates decisions of graphical settings then your personal preference). Besides... this thing easily does twin Gauss rifles. You can easily make competitive builds that do not even scratch 80-90% heat.
However for my ideas on what the weapon bay door button could do...
Well... I can't think of much, not many mechs there have 'articulated' movements besides the norm or what ever.... Maybe some mechs can have MG's inside the mech and pressing the door will open the hatches and the MG's start spewing shots kinda like modern jet fighters?

That needs to be for all mechs, not just a few.
Also the crouching in BT is a rather slow process. It won't be a fast teabag... what's wrong with JJ?

First of all: That arm has no lower arm actuator... nor can it move side to side.... nor does it have an elbow...
That's why PGI didn't introduce that design of the dragon or introduce that arm style to t he S omnimechs ie:
Kitfox S, Direwolf S, Timberwolf S (yes, 2 of the 3 clan mechs like this do not have it... what can be considered buffing underpowred mechs like a kitfox or dragon. just extremely buffs the timberwolf or direwolf by giving it an arm high hardpoint...)
