overall size, very similar, but definitely a lot less doughboy...though by no means the radical remodel the CPLT received.

Will it be enough.... and is it still cursed with terribad looking guns in the RA?

Still not sure why the limbs have to be so beefy. I get it was one of the first MWO mechs, but look at the MW4 version:

Those are much better proportions. If it was like this then you'd see a lot more Awesome.

The Awesome might be the new meta. No I am not joking. The Black Knight is receiving huge nerfs. The Banshee, Warhammer and the Marauder are receiving mild nerfs.

Battlemasters and Thunderbolts slight buffs. Lots of laser vomit options now where as previously it was BK or go home.

We'll have to see how it goes. While it doesn't look THAT much smaller, look closer and you'll see those side torsos especially got a LOT smaller from the front. Should be a lot more survivable... moreso than the pure appearance might show.

@Mischeif: They shrunk the BLR physically.

BLR will be replacing the Wubshee. Mark it down.

Slightly slimmer front profile plus slightly larger shoulder shields should make the thing noticeably tougher.

I think Thunderbolts are going to make a big comeback and there will be places for things like the Jester and maybe even the Quickdraw and dare I say it... Dragon.

I don't think the Awesome is going to be the ultra meta, but it hopefully will be a lot better

Should help a little but if people can ct core smaller medium mechs without issues ,i cant see this helping much.

Tbolts will be everywhere again due to the bk,gh scale and quirk nerfs.

I was honestly hoping they would shrink the width of the mech. There are locations on some maps it simply can't pass between objects. It's torso hard points are so far apart that one set can miss entirely.

It sucks with the width, but that happens with other mechs too and even some heavies have problems with that.

If I'm able to roll the damage around a bit better then it's better, it honestly doesn't look like it will be any worse.

Unfortunately now my Archer is bigger so I'll have to see which one is smaller....Posted Image

Hitboxes is what needs adjusting. Otherwise, it's still the bad mech it will inevitably designated to be (twice).

Hitboxes can only adjust so far, without the geometry being adjusted first.

I'd like to see what would happen if they gave the Awesome some massive accel/decel quirks... on the theory that since it has low-slung guns its got lower center of gravity. It'll never hill-hump well because of those low-slung guns, but if it could corner very fast, since its PPCs are instantaneous (as opposed to lasers which have a burn-time), it could out-trade enemy laser fire by peeking, shooting, and scooting back into cover.

It'll still have a low top speed, but more nimble. Then see how it goes.

All the BLR's that don't matter got nerfed, the best of the bunch (2C and 1G) got a bit better thanks to being scaled down and maintaining their quirks.

FTFY, the closest analog to the BK was the WHM-6D. The GHR-5P and QKD-5K will compete for best ERLL mech most likely.

Holy **** I missed that on the BLR. Mah 1G! <3 u baby, the bad man didn't touch you!

Wubshee was awesome and fun but all things come to an end. BLR saves 10 tons for a better heavy.

The awesome was my first mech. I hope, this turns out to be fine for my old barn doors.
