A couple months ago Pgi showed us a demo of what decals would look like. As I recall, they are supposed to be released in June but it wasn't on the Roadmap.

It was their position at the time that decals really weren't a thing and you should spend mc on the new loot crates and buy the newest mech pack for $80. As for me, I'm saving up for street fighter and other games that are not pgi produced.

In the Townhall before the last one, they said June. Since it wasn't mentioned in the Roadmap, I guess... August? September? Possibly never, if they couldn't get it to work.

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully if we make enough noise we'll at least get an answer.

You my good sir are wrong. So wrong that the wrongiest wrong person from Wrongville deemed you couldn't be wronger. PGI is actually trying to steer everyone away from this game with the multitude of decisions ranging from bad to WTF mate? This is all so they can start fresh and draw the masses to Transverse 2: Bass Pro Don't Sue Us Edition featuring gold plated fish shaped space ships that you can fly on one axis.

We're actually were never going to get decals. Instead we're getting mysterious Canadian 'dekkels' which don't actually exist.

Supply caches pretty much made my mind up last night, bought Overwatch.

The fact that we got Pirates Booty over Dekals is just another blemish on PGI's amazing track record of listening to the community and sticking to their guns. I for one am losing faith and patience with this game, i wanted to buy the Kodaik so bad but I cant bring myself to give PGI any money anymore.

Just kidding. Well sort of. I hope all of this is done in as much a sim way as possible, but I am really excited about loot making it to this game finally. I am sure the entire loot system will grow and be added to so this is the best news I have heard about this game since Phase 3 was added. Which wasn't long ago so this game is moving fast, which is good.

I have to agree, crates getting in before more customization is seriously disappointing.

I suppose these crates are less work but they'll make equally less money when compared to decals. Decals would be one of the better money makers in the game whereas these crates are alienating players. I try to be balanced in my opinion of things but I don't see how taking a detour to crates is a good idea.

When they demo'd decals it looked like they had it 90% done, they even have the button in the mech lab.

Hopefully Pgi isn't being as crazy as it seems and has decals lined up for August/September.

"Deckles" are probably one of the best ideas for new revenue in the form of microtransactions, not sure why they aren't a priority for PGI. Lore junkies would love them. Tryhards would love them.

Exactly, people love customization. Decals & custom geometry would be serious money makers.

PGI needs to answer the community on whats happening with Decals, Seriously PGI!, like i said in another thread, no decals is a game breaker for me!.
Don't underestimate the importance and desire for a Decal system.
