3 times image linked below, yes i finished that b4 extension. 2 people said my thoughts well, linked below.

"I liked this challenge.

I mean it was a challenge.

It isn't meant for to be easily completed and requires some time and effort to be put in to attain it.

If you don't have the time, that is life. Life isn't very fair.

What I don't understand is why people get so angry because they cant complete a challenge.

Are we supposed to be just handed out free stuff and not work for it?

Otherwise the challenges would be lame and boring."

"Welcome to F2P!

You either pay with your time or with your money.
Don't want to spend (loose) your 15 precious hours? Just buy a mechpack, - you'll get even more stuff from it."

^ what they said and to you whiner's SPEND YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME, I COMPLETED THIS GOD DAMN event 3 F'ING TIMES BEFORE THEY EXTENDED IT (had to stay up a few extra hours the final night) and then PGI caves into the WHINY BI****S who cant spend enough time on it so they complain instead of spending their money.

And for anyone Curious
I have only returned to this game in March after earning 3 mechs in early beta (2 catapults and a jenner not playing apart from that) so im not a "veteran"
I completed it ONCE in a Organised unit. AND TWICE SOLO DROPPING AS A PUGLET. ONCE AS INNERSPHERE AND ONCE AS CLAN.
(doing it as clan is harder than as IS coz clan have longer wait times atm)
I am in the WORST timezone for getting games, Melbourne Australia.
And i did both parts of event 3 times b4 they extended it, so use your money or your time and quit bitching for free stuff.

Get a brain do your research on builds, have something else to do while in queue's (they were pretty damned short during this event compared to usual)

Link to Mechs chosen for event. http://imgur.com/a/BXz8I

Annoyed PGI Caved to whiners extending time for ppl to get free stuff so I stayed up for no reason, happy lazy ppl who are unwilling to do reasearch or be proactive will be topping up FW queues for another 10 days.

Should I make a 4th and 5th account and do it 5 times ?

Congratulations dude, you completed it will before time.

As someone who has to work a full week plus being married and kid, I dont have basement dwelling vampire time to spend playing the game and you are saying that I should shirk all my other responsibilities to complete a challenge? Perhaps you should visit outside and get some vitamin D from sunlight.

TBH i had one part completed and wasnt really worried about the other but at least now I have a chance to get both.

Everyone gets participation awards!

Who cares about challenges! Hand out everything for free!

You know what? I keep losing at the power ball. If I complain enough will they let me win 400 million?

You should be happy the event was extended, it will keep the FP queues filled up with peeps. So instead so whining like a little ***** perhaps you should thank PGI!

No. I dont say thank you for another week of ruined scouting mode and beginners dropping in trials, just because they made the intel requirement way to high. I feel this is a lazy solution with negative side effects.

This event should have been at the start of the single player queue to promote it. It would have saved a lot of frustration on all sides. I dont understand that timing at all, but i do start to understand why some people think PGI destroys FW on purpose. The whole thing ( i incluce the failure of single player queue AND the start of an event that promotes FW to single players a week later as one incident. This really feels like done on purpose, first make single queue fail, then frustrate the hell out of any other player that had any ideas of trying FW ) is executed in a way that causes frustration to all sides without any need.

The challenge objectives they set are generally always in question. Its like they dont know their own game and the affect certain things they set as objectives will have on the game.

The ease also depended upon your timezone. Oceanic suffered long wait times during peak (after 9pm local when working married people get free time).

I managed to get 37 drops in over 10 days. 13 of those were ghost drops.

This event has nothing to do with time and everything to do with pugs vs faction to get the 15 wins.

I get easily 1500-2000damage in 10-48 stomps but have lost every game (only played 8) so far.

At the rate everyone is complaining, might as well do away with all these events and instead periodically give everyone free items/mechs.

There are answers to all the questions people are whining about, they just refuse to do it.

How to complete the event the fastest and best way possible? join an organised group or unit.
Don't want to? That's your own damn fault.

it sitll has, making 30 invasions and 60 scoutings does require a lot time, especially when you may be in a faction where you don't get instant drops and probably have mutiple ghostdrops.

So why did you stay up late after you got it for the first time?
Who asked you to do that?
It would have been better to spend time with your family.

Instead you stayed 3 time over, for no reason anyway, and now you bi*ch that the event was extended?

Well, in your own words, that's life and life's not fair, so quit yer b**** mate! :)

I'm about 3/4 of way for scouting. Not even close for Invasion. I guess cause I don't focus on the event when playing even though all I have played is Scouting and FW since event started. One thing that is frustrating for me is how horrible it is to pug with other pugs on scouting missions. Almost everytime it's my pug force against a veteran unit. So I've got tons of losses and not much damage or kills since I get focused down quickly. I use comms every game too but well...guess I will "try harder" heh. Anyways, not bitching but would like a free mech before it ends ;)

I believe I finished the event last thursday. Hardest parts were to get 60 / 30 drops of each respectively and worst of all the intel points. It truly was hard at the end not to go farming alone and get some PUGs frustrated. But I believe I didn't abuse.

On the point of there being hard events I always relate to a specific one in WarFrame (forgot the name) that was excrutiatingly hard and had the community on its hindlegs complaining. The response was as it should be: "the event was supposed to be hard." ie. You want item "x" for free? Work for it! If you don't get it,... though luck!

IMHO the major reason the event got extended here is to keep the FP queues filled.

Pfft.

I not only completed the event, I built a cubby house for my kids, solved Fermat's Theorum and bottle-fed orphaned elephants in the same week.

I went hiking for five days during the event. First thought I wouldn't make the scouting part but the weekend appeared rainy...
So I completed everything by 9'th.

Don't really feell I should b*ch about anything.

Agreed. PGI wants FW Phase 3 to be a success. The event makes it looks like it is. When the event ends it will go back to being a ghost town (with the exception of the popular Scout mode). They are probably hoping that some of the new people who are trying FW because of the event will stay. Maybe a few will. After the solo queue debacle, I lost what interest I had in trying CW/FW again.
