Compare the images in the countdown to the blueprint. In the blueprint, the CT energy hardpoint lines up a tad bit higher than the lowest hardpoint in the arm.

Looking at the image in the countdown, the CT hardpoint lines up with the second highest hardpoint in the arm.

I guess they decided they were too high?

Because of the perspective and the fact the Kodiak has bent legs in the pic you posted, it seems they've moved it litterally a few inches. It's shoulder hard points are still a thing so it's still going to be an awesome 'Mech. I hope

Well either way they hardly moved at all D:

Arms seem to be the same, just not in a T-pose.

I didn't ***** about anything.

How come the eyes are so far apart in the PGI version?

Put the crack pipe down please, now where is that count to potato face when I need it. Sadly PGI's version brings this to my mind.

No, they made the humerus section more straight down/less angled, so the weapons are lower. Its not really a big deal, but they definitely aren't the same.

Pic from the texturing stream a while back looks the same:

The arms in the blueprint were just comically short.

No, i mean that the model isn't different, but it's simply posed/animated differently.
I mean it makes sense for the Orthographic to show the mode's T-pose, so it might not necessarily be posed the same way in-game.

On another note, i really doubt it'd make much of a difference for the viability of the mech. It's going to kick major *** and i'm scared.

They might have done it to narrow down the profile of the mech. Having the arms out that far would make it really wide. Bringing them in closer makes it easier to use the arms for shielding.

Its difficult to tell because of the slightly downward angle on this pic, but to me, it almost seems like the arms are wider/higher in this screen shot.

That's exactly what I am saying. They moved the arms in closer making the weapon pods slightly lower.

Yep, it looks like they changed the angle of the arms to be more downward, probably to make it less wide. That might hurt the mostly energy variants a bit, but it doesn't really matter for most of them.

I shall name thee "Yogi", "Cordury" and "Paddington". If I ever get a the Hero, "Pooh." Cause when I get it, I won't be able to play it well and then say "Awww Pooh, you suck...."
