Not if you're Canadian ... actually that might not be true either. Canada is pretty big. Luckily I have more family in BC than anywhere else right now so I'm feeling pretty good about being able to attend without spending too much $$ :)

Would consider going but the amount of travel required to attend a half day worth of "con" doesn't appeal. If this becomes an annual event and expands to become a weekend I will be tempted to pony up the money to attend.

Oh and feeding people who attend is weird and unnecessary... Is that a Canadian thing?Posted Image I've never heard of a Con providing food.

What would be totally awesome if PGI designed and developed their own Mech-warrior Online TESLA PODS. With throttles, pedals, joystick, and multiple screen displays to add to the realism.

It would even be awesome if the final contenders for the championships had to play in the PODS. No more Keyboard and Mouse...it would be chaotic but entertaining for sure.

This would be epic and get the true essence of piloting a battlemech into a fight.

I'm guessing it's less of a con, and more of a big party with a buffet or something. I think the name should have just been the MWO World Championships but that's just me. I'm still interested, and maybe HBS or CGL will have some folks in attendance as well.

Since it's at the Commodore Ballroom I would imagine you need to be 19 to enter?

I live in Toronto and the travel distance (and price) of going to Vancouver is insane.

That is an excellent question, actually. I am intent to bring my 17-year-old son, whom will not be able to stay at home alone, as he's not 18, yet, legally. Is that going to be a problem?

The other question I have is... are there a limited number of tickets? I've been trying to save up to buy my next The One Ring RP books, but if there are a limited number of tickets, it would be nice to know so I can purchase them sooner, rather than later.

        19 years and over

And, since the room has a capacity of about 1000 people.. Russ said (Ton Hall) something from [200]??? ticket for MWO crew reserved... It should left a limit just about [800].. I guess..
