Any thoughts on a viable Assault build with a pair of LB10X, similar perhaps to the EMP-6A Emperor in concept?
This is what I'm currently considering as the PPCs and LBX have the same ranges, though I'm tempted to swap out the pair of medium lasers for a pair of TAGs just as an indicator of when my PPCs will have LOS.

I try not to do LBX's because they spread damage but try this.

Meant to crit and destroy, not to be flashy but to wreck face.

Dat 41kph with speed tweak 26% heat efficiency.
Spend 10 minutes getting to the battle, fire one salvo, overheat and shutdown, rear cored out because you torso twist is measured in degrees per minute.

If you must go dual LBX then I would recommend you do so on the variant with the most energy hardpoints.

LBX10s are cool so you can use them while waiting to cool down. Fire lasers in groups of 3, 1 arm at a time, as it will all you to corner peak or avoid firing lasers that might be obstructed by terrain at that moment.

Go with the 5 AC5 Mx90. Optimal range of 837m gives you more pinpoint range than the effective range of an LBX. At 800m+ an LBX spreads so much you will be lucky if more than 1 pellet hits them.
So say you do hit x2 thats 20 damage the 5 AC5 is 25 damage and the reload is twice as fast.
MAL-MX90
Sure you might run out of ammo but that 9.5t of ammo equals 1425 potential damage.

Why so much armor on the legs? Seems the arms could use it more. Move 20-30 pts each would seem a lot safer.

Why Dual when you can go Quad? http://mwo.smurfy-ne...c069240965c6dd9

If you're going to insist on going dual LB-10's, here's another config for that: Wubshot Mauler
It goes faster, can lose a side torso, and keep on ticking (did not do any front-back tuning) Run with LB-10X AC cooldown and MPL Range modules.
40 shots for each LB-10x is sufficient for most battles. Doesn't have super-high DPS (because of cooling), but I guarantee that you shoot someone with that and they're not going to be happy.
