This is a public service announcement:

Not all Clan mechs are omnimechs.

The Kodiak, like the IIC mechs are battlemechs, like the IS's. If you didn't understand that, sorry.

However! Just because these are battlemechs does not mean they're bad! They're just built differently.

I remember the dark days of the IIC announcement when people still thought that IICs were Omnimechs.

While we're at it, people need to stop asking for melee Kodiaks because those claws are purely cosmetic in lore. If you tried to stab a mech with them, the claws would snap in half.

I don't expect everyone to know everything about the game's mechanics, but there is also a breaking point when the level of ignorance is too high to be tolerated.
