Because i Know some one will Ask,
the E-PPC was based off the same Design Path as the Enhanced-ER-PPC,
which was created by Clan Wolverine in 2823, as they Died off that Same Year-ish,
the Production Line of the Not-Named-Clan was Halted, as why E-PPC are Rare,
and only Mentioned in 2 Battle Tech Novels and in no Games,

Nah the heat is fine, they just need to have even higher velocity so that pilots can actually use their exceptional optimal range and so that it's more distinguished from the regular PPC.

What the heck is an E-PPC? That's not a thing as far as I'm aware. The Enhanced ER PPC was the evolutionary link between the Star League ER PPC and the Clan ER PPC, but there is no gun between normal PPC and Enhanced ER PPC called the E-PPC.

If anything, they should up cERPPC damage to 15 FLD, and increase the ghost limit on IS options to whatever combination results in 30 damage. That's 3x PPC/SNPPC/ER PPC or 6x LPPC or 2x HPPC or whatever combination.

as ive Stated in both this Topic and the E-PPC topic, the E-PPC was an Enhanced PPC,
it was only Refrenced in 2 BattleTech Novels(& the Cartoon, But People Say that doesnt Count),
No Stats where Ever Given But they did say it was Reminiscent of a Snub Nose that weighted Less,
all the E-PPC Stats ive Put Forward are My Own from the E-PPC Topic,

But if people could fire 3 PPCs at once, why would they buy all the identical 3 LPL + 4-5 MLas "champion" 'mechs PGI began selling over the last year? 30 dmg alphas would be totally OP compared to 50dmg laser vomit...

Yeah, unless I can get stats on it, it doesn't exist and should not be considered for inclusion into the game.

I'm not inclined to let the Clans have a PPC that is both superior to the standard or SNPPC in range and weight with no drawback whatsoever.

I can already spam 30 point alphas using 2xPPC+AC/10 or 2x AC/5. It's pretty awesome. OP? Not really. The IS lasers do damage so fast and in such large wads that it's comparable. The two systems have different use-cases.

I personally would welcome more PPCs. Actually, if the Snub Nosed is introduced for the IS with a GH-limit of three, I would totally support a full 15 PPFLD C-ERPPC.

EXT means "Extinct."

That means the Clans don't use standard PPCs or Enhanced ER PPC at all by the indicated date.

RET means "Returned," I think. I guess that means the Enhanced ER PPC came back after 3080, though I don't see any reason why you'd want to take it over a normal Clan ER PPC. Same heat, 3 less damage.

So basically it is a Standard IS PPC, just a little lighter and smaller. I don't play Clan enough to judge if it was useful or not.
However it was extinct (unlike, btw. the Blazer... but that is another discussion).
