Kodiak Hitboxes Inside (Kinda): Asymmetrical Ct

Now, I admit, I'm not too sure about the waist ring, I forgot to look at that, but the interesting thing is the asymmetrical torso hitbox. The LT has the missile (on other variants) which counts as ST, but even the 3 has it as ST, while the RT is always CT.
I also fudged up the legs, I think that left sticking CT triangle should probably be Leg (between CT and ST plates)...oh well.
Other notes are the TINY banana hammock on the groin, and that the leg armour plates count as ST (but not on the arm)
Another questionable point on my diagram is the lower ST panel, under the missile hardpoint...I realize I didn't check that point and just assumed it's also ST. Could be CT, need another target to double check.
But, here's a general overview of the Kodiak, with some wrong items.
The CT does stick out a bit, which means you need to be nearly full 90 Degs twisted to not be hit there, but you can only go 84ish Degs (to either direction) if the target is directly ahead.

This is somehow nonsensical, the left bit should be ST as well making the CT much smaller.

If still on in a few hours and need target with premium time lemme know.
Heck I think the archer and rifleman still need proper mapping to, don't they?

I guess the people who whined have been torso twisting left, and the ones who thought the CT was alright have been torso twisting right?

Lol....
I twist both ways, and while I eventually die to CT, really my only complaint is I can't seem to lose my arms if I try! At least not without my ST attached to it....

Whil I agree the asymmetry is weird, a smaller CT won't actually change anything, though, since that central trapezoid/hexagon is just a giant "SHOOT HERE" symbol that is impossible for anybody but the blind to miss, especially because it has its own fixed color.
Or we can just shoot the head.

Not if you paint it black! Srs tho, that part you describe does stick out a fair bit, making it easy to hit even at 90 degree twist. I know in my kodiaks i can still nail other KDK's CT when they go 90+ degree twist. Which is fine for now. I want to see a month of non-leaderboard data on KDK performance before buffs/nerfs/geometry fixing. Assuming that CT assymetry doesn't need fixing.

Great observation - I absolutely torso twist to the left the majority of the time. I suppose it's about time to start practicing twisting to the right.

Yes, but those mechs have asymmetry in their very design. The Kodiak looks symmetrical, therefore it probably *should* be hitboxed as symmetrical.

Looks intentional when I look at the exported model. RT is a solid mass, while the LT has a removable blank
The RT blank is just the empty missile/Dakka slot on the shoulder.
Not to say the hitbox couldn't be adjusted, just that this seems intentional when looking at this.
