I think adding the Chameleon would add an interesting aspect to play.

Both as a trainer with a training mode, and as its combat variants.

Even though technically it would not be until the later years (ie after the Clans), having the ability to fit out and use a Chameleon would actually not be a bad idea in its own way. Everyone in the Inner Sphere knows the Chameleon, especially if they went through the Academy vice learning how to use a 'Mech via their industrial counterparts.

Who loves the chameleon? This guy. It's not a horrible mech in a sense that you can't alpha without REALLY paying for it with heat. (1LL, 2ML, 3SL and 2MG for a heat total of 17 w/o moving) The standard model used for training had all this, a stock loadout of 10 HS and a 6/9/6 for movement, which is decent for a 50 tonner. The Chameleon also is equipped with a Vlar 300 engine, which is known for its combat reliablity and since it is used with the good ol' Atlas.

I would love to see the Chameleon, mainly because its practically a Pheonix Hawk without all the unseen issues.

woohoo my 69th post!

Very yes.

The Chameleon is a very good substitute for the Phoenix Hawk, which I consider to be the quintessential medium 'mech. It combines both mobility and firepower.

Plus, it looks pretty sweet, and is underrepresented due to having been published in TRO3058 rather than TRO 3025. Likewise, with the Merlin and Longbow.

The Crockett is a heavier training mech with a mix of weapons, could be fun for training and battle. Just saying.

Yes. More mechs is always better. Hundreds at least. Thousands if possible. Screw balance. I want options!

Add it simply because it was in The Crescent Hawks Inception. Woot!
