Wait, that was a bug? Can we have it reimplemented as a feature? I was blissfully enjoying a UI free from incessant pop-ups…

Dudes, this is it right here. Either that or turn down the frequency or only allow one to show at a time.
That being said, thanks for fixing the FW chat and the infinite voting-screen loading.

They are second only to hit-registration/lag-shielding in their frustration level.
Deflate the pop-ups and work on making the multiple 64-point alphas that I poured into a Firestarter have an effect!

Greetings MechWarriors,
We will be rolling out a hot-fix, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday May 25th at 3:00 PM PDT [10PM UTC], with the following changes:
• Fixed an issue where matches could fail and players could be disconnected after experiencing extended loading at the Quick Play voting results screen.
• Fixed an issue which could cause targeting systems to behave erratically.
• Fixed an issue where players were unable to select Team or Lance Chat in Faction Play lobbies.
• Fixed an issue which could cause the client to erroneously report a Ceasefire In Effect.
• Fixed a related issue where Call To Arms notifications wouldn't start triggering until the player accessed Faction Play.
We will update this post as necessary if any further changes to the content or its tentatively scheduled time arise.
The maximum estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.
so no hit reg fixes in the hot fix or the patch....
thats disappointing

Its not empty because of a lack of popups, its empty because the whole thing sucks.

I wasn't. It made many matches rather lopsided. Imagine being the only one to reconnect in your team, only to find the whole enemy team reconnected. 12-on-1 execution, much?

[Edit:] (p.s.: Now if only PGI would fix the bloody Faction Warfare Contract System, provide a lot of options from Phase 2 that made MWO feel inviting, and enable newbies to get the Mech Bays they need to actually be able to play. Otherwise this game isn't going to grow.)

Not being shown call to arms popups until you have expressed interest by looking at the faction map made 100% sense.
Shoving "hey come join as a solo so elite 12 man team have someone to stomp" messages in peoples face only makes them more annoyed at the mode.
