the iic is a little taller, probibly because it has different legs, but the body is essentially the same size. rescale is probibly going to happen before the requirking, but i dont know how much thats going to affect the jenner. mechs that dont change significantly probibly arent even going to get a requirk pass.

i have a hunch that a mech bay sale is right around the corner (and hence my reluctance to buy a second hero light), they always do the hero sale first and then the bays, that way you end up buying a bunch of bays full price. sneaky sneaky pgi. if only they were as good at game dev as they were at buisness.

frankly they dont have a leg to stand on, with their 36 tube capable jenner iic. im gonna have to put them head to head to see which actually performs better.
The IIc tends to burst harder and has JJ but runs alot hotter while the oxide sustains better, lives longer, is more nimble and has tighter SRM groupings

I'd honestly give you my BW if I could. Because the only way she shines is if she ain't a Warhammer anymore. And I just can't ruin the most iconic early era BT mech by running a stump armed Dakka-Nippled Abomination.
I hold on to my Ilya because maybe someday they'll show the CTF a little love again, and it's one of the cooler looking chassis, still. (Not under any delusions about effectiveness, though). But I just can't bring myself to MetaBastardize Warhammers and such.

Ilya for 3AC5 std engine build, and the BW for PPC and 2AC5? I agree it is hard to not make the BW into a monstrosity but the typical K2 build seems to do all right in it and lets me keep the PPC flavor of the BW while giving it a fairly nice long range punch (as a consequence I have to run the K2 a bit funky since I can't tolerate duplicate builds in different chassis. I'm actually seriously considering another Ilya just to make a 3AC10 or 3LBX build. Phracts may be obsolete but I still like em.

3 AC5 std engine ILya is so obsolete in current game environment.

Of course. Still fun, plus that build on first (or better yet second wave) attacks on Sulfurous or Vitric does just fine for me. I won't sniff the meta in it, but it sill works.
Heck if I wasn't willing to keep obsolete mechs and builds I would get rid of about half my mechs (as I have done before). Now if a build is what I consider elegant (def: uses all hard points and all crit spots) I keep it just for the aesthetic satisfaction and sense of efficiency it gives me.

I will buy the Black widow. SHould I get the Roflman hero? I mean, i play pretty much all mechs, and figure stuff out to makem work- some better then others but eh. My real question is, can that roflhero do anything the other variants can;t, even if it is a particular specialized loadout or something it is better by spades at then another variant?
if it is just a fancy camo repeat version of the others, I will continue to skip it as I did on my preorder. if it has something unique about it, I will prolly pick it up for completions sake.

Edit: previous post got carried away thinking of the Firebrand.

Huginn and Grid Iron for me. Just can't seem to get a grip with either of the two. :/
YLW, on the other hand...is likely my favorite mech in the game overall. Counting just hero mechs, Firebrand is my next fav for some reason.

I have a full stable of all the Kodiaks to play with, still unused at this time. Hopefully there will be a Mech Bay sale before the next sale. I would like to get a little Mech Warrior fix in every now and then. Back to my other game for now.
