Medium Wub Hunback 4P. Running equipment & updates 3 or 4 times the worth of one hunback. Rode only that thing straight for >half a year. Now, i´m only dusting it off for "that elusive event goal" - if nothing else works, this mech does the trick!

Also re-bought/built a Splatcat yesterday (for the lulz), still works :D

KGC-000, 6xAC2s , 2 MLs, tons upon tons of ammo, AC2 range 5 module, ML cooldown 5 module, ADV Zoom module, ADV Seismic module, and the ultimate taboo, an XL340.
Love it as it provides rapid in your face damage in both long and close ranges. Great for suppression. It does make you more of a target than just being a KGC to start with. I mean, they send hit teams just for you. While they're trying to get to you, your team is making their push. Works out real mice. And the dakka sound...love it! My favorite ride.

Next would be my Warhammer 6D with 3xERLLS, 6xMLs.

Crab 27B - 3 Large Pulse Lasers all on the left side, no armor in the right arm.

Deals amazing damage for a medium, takes an amazing amount of damage not only for a medium, but for a medium running an XL engine. Fair speed but more than anything I believe it's low profile combined with good hit boxes really makes this mech.

It's the one mech I go to if I'm having a rough night. If I suck with it as well, it's not my night. The one time I used a different mech because the Crab simply couldn't do it for me was a couple weeks ago against all the Kodiaks. Had to pop the Atlas out and that worked.

Double Barrel Fox

Stacked PPCs for maximum convergence, and KFX-D arm (+10 armor/struct) for maximum shield arm strength! Sword and board ftw!

Got it originally just because my unit drops with it but I fell in love with it soon after.
As with any brawler you need to be in the right place at the right time. But if I manage to pull it off that GAR-D (12 spl) always puts a smile on my face.

Way old meta but the erppc thunderbolt 9s is usually my first drop mech. You almost never see ranged builds on IS initial drops. I boat some med lasers also and it's hot in close quarters but usually effective. Some maps it is a lot of work as it gets close in fast.

"nope gen 2 is not free this hurts you way more than it does me baby"
"you shall not pass this gate is mine at 1000m"
"maam you dropped something at the gate"
"oh erll's at range, I'm fire and forget you get half a burn on my arm"
etc.

I often brawl too much with it to my detriment instead of letting others tank but I typically exceed my more meta mechs later in my deck for damage.

My personal go to 'mech is my MAD-BH.

BOUNTY HUNTER II

2x Large Pulse and 5x Medium Lasers at 36% cooling, with the Mediums on chain I'm blasting away all day long.

WHM triple LPL and 5 SL

SHC - A with 3 SSRM-6 and two ERmed lasers, Clan Probe, ECM, w/modules = shock absorbers, Target Decay, Med Laser range, and SSRM - 6 range modules...

I play with the Oculus in VR, and this and the Arctic Cheetah are the most fun - like an amusement park ride with the jumps, though the Shadow Cat may seem under armed, I often get over 500 points damage with this build ( over 1000 twice) but ironically sometimes don't get a kill with it even when doing most damage...

My main hunter is ever stealthy Mist Lynx. One ERPPC, ECM, and all the armour you can add, and you can work miracles if you know what you are doing. Alas, not many know what to do with the Lynx, and often end up trying to force it into a role that, simply put, you are better off using something else for.

Shadow Cat does it not only with twice the guns, but also slightly higher run speed and way more heat cap. Posted Image

It's not that i play it often but my CDA-3M is my old comfortable shoe. It feels just right and is perfect to break myself back into the game. Fast enough to move around, low profile with ecm makes you dangerous with an ac10 + 4ml, can support or flank or scare a light away. Invariably i switch to the X5 when i feel i can aim again and take the speed.
