1. That build is better on a FANG.

I actually like it on the FLAME. Allows me to follow targets with the lasers, and not worry about putting AC10 rounds into the dirt. Quirks are better on the FANG, no doubt. I save my AC10 shots for bigger targets. The cooldown on the FANG temps you to face tank them, which leads to bad results. Plus I'm more likely to offer up my gorilla arm right side for damage control and only lose 1 laser.

3. Missile quirks on all dragons taking up 'quirk space'.
4. Hitbox nerf.

Agreed on both 3 and 4. IMO, not enough to label it "Pay To Lose". It's not that I'm suggesting to anyone to go out and buy them. In fact, my suggestion is to not go out and buy ANYTHING until we see what the re-scale and Quirkening actually deliver. Even the Kodiak may be up for quirk adjustments. I'm really hoping they leave the quirks alone on the Dragons. If they do, and re-sized based on the screen shot, these will probably end up back in my standard money making rotation.

5. The only thing the FLAME has for it is the AC/20 build. Even then other mechs do it better.

To each their own. Granted, it's no meta mech. But it is fun to drive. It's really a matter of opinion. I mean there are probably those that are saying they got the Oxide and it turned out to be junk....

the ilya is still my favorite hero. so far its the only mech that can equip 3 is ac10s. sure you can kit it out with a more sensable loadout. but why would i do something like that, there are other mechs for that. i keep my 10s.

No, they shouldn't.

Love that Marik warhorn riff. Sounds like a riff from DUNE (1984). But they really need to get that gorilla arm fixed.

That you did well doesn't mean its not an under performing Mech ;) But at least it does seem to be better than the other variants.

Anansi is the worst hero IMO. Even the name says so, "a-nancy".

Remember there was a time when they were both among if not the best mechs in the game....

Yep, they've gone from best to worst.

I do CONSISTENTLY better in a Pretty Baby or St. Ives than in a Dragon Slayer or Heavy Metal. It's not even close. The Dragon Slayer is especially terrible - the piss-poor quirks are like a punishment for being good two years ago; and it doesn't have enough armor to stand up to one clan uber-laser-vomit alpha strike. Useless.
