What is the furthest you can lock onto someone? How much does it increase with advanced sensor range?
(no guesses please)

800 m base

25% with advanced sensor range +200
25% with BAP + 200
6% increase with Command Console +50 (should be 48, but I can get 50 more with it.)

So for inter-sphere it is 1250 m for now and will change.

Note: "All Cyclops variants come equipped with a Tacticon B-2000 Battle Computer in place of the standard Sensor suite.
This Battle Computer boosts the Sensor Range of not just the Cyclops, but any allied 'Mechs within range."

Q: What is the "Tacticon B-2000 Battle Computer" mentioned on the Cyclops page?
The Tacticon B-2000 Battle Computer is a modified version of the standard Sensor suite found in the Head component of most 'Mechs. As with the Life Support system and the Cockpit, the standard Sensor suite is a piece of Fixed Equipment; it takes up 0 usable slots and weighs 0 tonnes.
The Sensor suite is what allows your 'Mech to use its standard targeting abilities.

The B-2000 Battle Computer is a special version of this standard Sensor suite, and is currently exclusive to the Cyclops chassis. It replaces the standard Sensor suite, takes up 0 usable slots, and weighs 0 tonnes.

The B-2000 Battle Computer provides the following benefits, on top of the standard abilities of the basic Sensor suite:

• Boosts the standard Sensor Range of the Cyclops 'Mech.
• Boosts the standard Sensor Range of any ally 'Mechs within radius of the Cyclops.

Targeting Computer Mk II
Sensor range: [+3.25]% add 26 m

Targeting Computer Mk III
Sensor range: [+4.25]% add 34 m

I have killed a mech with LRMs out to 1242 m abusing using BAP, command console and advance sensor range.

It also has a weird effect in PUG play. If you can pick up those flankers 400 m out farther the PUGs react.

how did you get the extra 122m range on the LRMs, 1km standard range + 12% from LRM range 5 = 120m, 1120 total am I missing something?

1000m LRM range
+15% missile range quirk (+150m) on the STK-5M, for instance
+10% LRM range module (+100m)
=1250m max range

Whatever the max range of an AC-20 is. Posted Image

Like everyone else has said, max range is somewhere between 1100 and 1250ish meters...

Keep it safe, fire at 7-800m. Less travel time for the LRMs.

Okay, so I actually only get targeting at 796 meters unaided, not the full 800. Not sure why. That puts the single sensor boost at 995, not 1,000. Not a BIG difference, but a difference.

That was in the Zues 6T when it had a 15% range quirk with a 10% LRM range module. (45 LRMs to the back of a mist linx to end the match.) Now most of the LRM range quirks have been removed. There are still some mechs with range buff now, just a handful only. One is a locust with a 20% range buff. So I can kill things out to 1300 m now. Of the mechs I can think of now there is one Stalker, one Wolverine and one locust. I think there are a few more with LRM range buffs but not many. The day I figured out that there were some mechs left with range buffs I took out the locust and was hitting targets out to 1280 m trying for the kill with LRM 5's in chain fire.

The sad part is I like to fire LRMs at 300 to 400 m
