Noticed the same thing.

It has been kinda slow the last month or so.

JetComm seems quieter than usual, but New Player Help seems active enough.

Gonna keep my tinfoil hat on the shelf concerning why, though. No sense in needless speculation.

A lot have moved on I would imagine. I've been noticing a decline for quite some time now. Shoot, there are week-long gaps in the meme thread. I remember when I'd have to actively keep up with it. It's a shame, but understandable. Without traffic there's no draw, and a lot of ideas have been checked off.

I also feel that it's in part the forums themselves that have done this.

PGI has had that totally awesome, but poorly executed website background for years. Everyday.. I have to stare at that aesthetically unpleasing rectangular gradient on the bottom left of the image, as well as the uneven, poorly blended gradient along the entire bottom.

I figured, no big deal, they'll update the image someday, or at least fix it.

Nope..

I'm surprised I sit through it everyday, no wonder no one else does.

Hmm.. a bit off-topic there, but that's the point right?
