What Did You Guys Name Your Mechs?

Wolfhound- Schnellfeuer (quick firing light mech)
Griffin- Falkenauge (Mostly long range medium)
Timber Wolf- Geist Wolfe (Long range support, I try to hit and run, stay out of the sights of the larger mechs)
Warhammer- Langerschuss (ER PPC warhammer. Mostly working out at long range, then closing for the kill)
Atlas- Eisenfaust (Cause Atlas, So Iron Fist seemed very fitting)
I used German because Im a Steiner fanboy. But even as an Inner Sphere junkie, the Timber Wolf is just too much of a legendary mech to pass up not having.

Hunchback IICs: DAKAKAKKAKAKAK (4x AC), Swayback IIC (Lasers), Missiles bro (SRMs)
Crabs: Crabcake (20), Jumping Crab (SL), Pinchy (27B), and Snowcrab (27)
Kodiaks: Snodiak (KDK3), the others don't have names.
Oh, and if you're going German, Leidenskraft. "Affliction Strength," or rather, "Wretched force."

My Atlas DDC was called "Uncle Sam". With red, white, and blue paint it looked like it was dressed in Uncle Sam's suit. It was so obnoxiously American it practically farted bald eagles and apple pies.

- CPT Jester: "Mean Machine" 75 KPH (STD 280) 2 LPL + 4 MPL.
- CTF Ilya Murromets: "Can Opener" AC 20 + AC10 on right side + 3ML, Meant to go in frontal and open CTs with that AC 20 while shielding with the left side.
- JR-7F: "Stalker" 6 MPL for quick kills from the backside
- CDA-3M: "The Shadow" 3 ER-LL + ECM. Sniping gallore.
- MAR BH-II: "Pain Easer" 6 LL. Can ease any pain permanently.
- Ballistic Warhammer: "Lolhammer", while the "Boomcat" (dual AC 20 CPT-K2) was a glascannon fun build, this beast with 2 AC 20 and 4 ML is quite the viable deathmachine.

LOL !! Damn some people are funny.
For go back to topic:
Well me for 95% of my mechs i give them a generic name depending of loadouts like LPL-Draw or PPC-Forcer or Enforc-ERPPC stuff like that

REally fews mechs have a dedicated name, but my atlas DDC is "Optimus DDC" or my LBX jagermech is "SWAT SPAS-12" ( lol i like the spas-12 in battlefield bad compagny same sound same fear in my opponents eyes )
Oh i have also "50 CENT" in a mechbay ( 50ish alpha strike centurion ) and my kit fox is "-HelloKitty-" ( a beast )
Loyalists mechs have a special name depending their unique camo like Valkyrie for loyalist Centurion or HEX Nova for loyalist Nova and my hero mechs are named like "The OXYDE" or "The TOP DOG" i have only a problem with pirate bane which is named only "PIRATE BANE"
Well about this i have a request if PGI should increase name cause 12 letters isnt enough .. maybe 16 should be really cool.
Plz copy me only if you like me or admit to yourself that i am superior

Most of my mechs that I end up naming are usually because I build them to be recreations of other existing configurations (Or attempts at mimicking them), like my Grasshopper 6Kb, which I tried to make mimic the 6K that I love in Tabletop. The Catapult 3K, built from a 2K chassis, actually performs pretty well and is one of my go-to sniper builds.
Otherwise, I haven't been naming my mechs very much at all. What I do spend a lot of effort on is recreating canon paint schemes for my mechs as written in the Field Manuals series of books. Unfortunately, I've pretty much run out.
