Does anybody else think this looks 'tarded?

I'm probably the only person who loves the HBK-IIC-C, it's my favorite mech, which is also the only one with lasers on the arms. and even I don't like this change.

They're not even changing the IS HBK. So it literally would only affect IIC-C players?

The vertical arms is a big reason why I like the aesthetic, reminds me of a Summoner.

Looks kinda like the default T-Pose you see in games which glitch out. I don't like it either.

I think it may be so players can differentiate between the IS Hunchie and IIC at a glance. It is also much closer to the Othographic that was released before the Mech dropped.

I know Alex was involved in getting a few Mech's stances changed, perhaps this was one he also wanted to match his original concept.

Personally I prefer the current model as it looks better with the arms down.

Definitely a weird choice, for me. I guess it's based on Alex' vision of the Clan aesthetic? Ice Ferret has the same thing going on.

I also prefer the current arm positions to this.

Even if this is about the "Clan aesthetic", the IIC 'Mechs should blend IS and Clan styling cues, right?

I like the new arm position. It'll probably look better while moving.

Probably meant to be closer to the Concept art.
Which is hilarious that they actually changed it, why? BECAUSE NOBODY COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CHANGE

There are so many changes people do complain about and they don't give a flying ****, but here nobody complained (heck, im pretty sure people were praising the change) and they decided to change it.

It's ******* hilarious.

Im not too fond of the change either. I just cant find the logic behind it.
Also I dont think Pythor would like it either..

Im not sure how they are positioned in the novels or tabletop for that matter. But even the cartoon show had them arms vertical.

Probably because most forum complaints are ignorant bs ;)
Please let the professionals do their jobs.
I'm sure that we also could second guess every single decision you make in your occupation. But that wouldn't make your decisions wrong.

Original concepts are great.. but we're constantly trying to improve on them. I wouldn't want to go into battle with my arms extended out like that, especially since the joint exists. The current vertical arms remind me of a stocky/thuggish pose, and the new straight arms remind me of the fat people in Wall-e(no elbows Lol.) It's a pretty broad mech to begin with.

Just seems much more natural how it is - http://i.imgur.com/N8AFMPs.gifv
It even curves into the roundness of the arm, too.

* The new design will mildly hurt torso twist blocking

If i remember correctly Bishop and a few others took to the twittersphere to ask for a stance change on the HBK IIC (similar to the stance change request for some of the reseens).

It is 'tarded, but thats PGI for you. The good thing is that on a HBK-IIC you really don't care about your arms. At all.

My vote is - Why was this even done when you could have spent the time on fixing the Treb?

Leave them as is.

Yeah, I also prefer the old arms.
Maybe a bit more angled, but not as much as the current position. :-/

Yup. They're kinda derp.

Fortunately I don't run the C very much (I like the A and B) so it doesn't matter too much to me.
