On a serious note, my favorite part about Clan afficianados is how the whole concept of "good intentions being corrupted by power and time and human nature" goes right over their heads as they beat the pro-Clan drums.

The Clans are not the good guys. They are very, very much the bad guys. The only good one was Wolverine, and they got annihilated early on.

They should just take IS out of the game. Most of the time I play my Clan Mechs because I hate relying on that crutches the IS Mechs are. True skill takes an underperformer like the Hellbringer and makes it shine.
I mean sure I could run a Dragon, but that´s like cheating.

The only real mistake PGI has made was introducing the clans to soon.
And all inbred vat born hive mind tube tykes that have appeared in this game.
Not to mention their cheat mode clan mechs.
And then to have the disingenuous nerve and gall to cry on the forum about op IS mechs are.
Bunch of vat babies.
The clans didn't leave the Inner Sphere they got booted out.

The locust 1E and 1V balance out all the clan tech. If you haven't piloted them, you shouldn't talk about IS v Clan game balance. IS v Clan XL? pff. Range? pff. Weight? pfff. Look, it all makes sense if you pilot the 1E and 1V.

The moment the Grand Council became a thing with Kerensky being the snake he was is ironically one of the major corrupting moments because politics were a major factor of the Clans despite their claims otherwise. Which is honestly why I liked the Wars of Reaving story line, at least at the beginning, because it took that detail to the next logical step.

^ Truth, I originally thought they had some communist overtones originally, and then I got myself some edumacation.
