I want to make a battletech manga. If you had ever watched "08th MS Team", a gundam anime, and my manga will have that kind of realistic pictures. I will post my first introduction manga about battletech. I want to be honest, I have drawn manga for like forever, but nothing finished because I lost interest right away, so I don't want to talk to much, I hope PGI whenever they read my manga will approved it and make a serial about it. My manga is about a young boy, age around 18/19, who pilot CDA- 3M, a Mercenaries, and his friend will be FS- 9S, a mysterious but deadly pilot. Their adventure will be depicted as a "humorous and fun adventure", I hope after I have done I will post it here.
As an example this is an example of how I love mech themed manga...this is a very old manga I made and yes....not finished.

I think this would have been better off in general discussion or off topic.

I do not see how it helps new players.

however good luck with the comic

Watch out for "copyright" issues. BT kinda has a history with stuff like that ;)

I would voice this concern as well. Ask PGI and get something in writing. The folks at PGI are very welcoming of fan creations and I don't think this will be much for a problem for you. You may want to contact theB33f and Heffay. They both do quite a bit of fan creation stuffs. I would also caution you not to use any of the "unseen". Harmony Gold owns distribution rights to the images of some of these older mechs and, in my opinion, are nasty patent trolls. Here's a list of the unseen: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Unseen .

I wish you luck and would be excited to see want you make.

Wrong topic.
Consider placing under one of the categories here under the Community HPG. Probably under fan creations.
PGI has no legal precedence over Manga approval. Those rights belong to Catalyst Games, inc.
Piranha Games, Inc. has a limited license from Microsoft, which it renews every so often (usually around when sales get crazy). Currently the license goes to either 2018 or 2020 where PGI will have to renew it again.

However, from a legal precedence, unless Catalyst contacts you with a cease and desist order, you can make a manga under creative commons / fan service. You will need to check if you can 'sell' it though I believe you cannot; this is a bit of a grey area though as short of the 'universe' and machines, you are using your own works and thus it is your creation; Catalyst could very easily cut you off -- or more likely they will ask for a royalty from sale.

This said: No Guts No Galaxy is home to at least two mangas.

One by this guy. His is a color-manga/comic series. Sorry I'm not hunting for the actual link to it but it's really good.

And another more commonly known as "Critical Hits." Though this is more of a 'funnies' comic. Pretty easy to find this series.

Additional information:
I have seen the 08th MS Team.
Over 70% of Battletech is based on the following animes:
08th MS Team, and similar "Universal Century" gundam from the 1980s; EXCLUDING the GUNDAM itself. (Emphasis on this; the enormous difference in abilities between the "Gundam" and regular mobile suits such as the Zaku is to the extreme that this must be stated. Battletech ECM's first description, in fact, is almost identical to the Minovsky Particles which later evolved into a ruleset and the "Guardian ECM.") (Battletech's original mech scale is partially based on this source.)
Patrol Labor (Battletech's original mech scale is partially based on this source) (All non-battle applications of mechs, Agromechs, etc. are based on this. Many "Star League" era details are also based on this series, such as 'gloves' to control the mech's hand movements for finer control, etc.)
Macross (The Marauder and the Phoenix Hawk LAM are based/ripped from this; and yes the Phoenix Hawk in Battletech changes into an "Aerotech Fighter" and back.) (Battletech DOES NOT use this source for scale purposes; otherwise the Marauder would crush an Atlas.)
Armored Trooper Votoms (literally everything that can be done in this series [Except Airburst turning] can be found in Battletech with rules of how to do it or at least a mention somewhere in Battletech from weapon grafting to 'Skipping to dodge missiles' [Pretty Baby, pilot hero Danielle and her 'Awesome'].) (Battletech's original mech scale is partially based from this source.)
