Can you be awarded "Solo Kill" and "Kill Most Damage" for the same kill?

Or are solo kills and KMDs for different kills?

In light, med, or heavy, you can get Killing Blow, Solo Kill, KMDD, and Brawling on the same kill.

If you get a solo kill it's always also a KMD.

Durn. For a wonderful few minutes there I though I had achieved 10 "moral" kills in a single match.



I'm still chasing that elusive Ace of Spades.

Solo kills are kind of weird. They don't indicate that you killed them from 100% to 0%. Rather, it indicates that you killed someone by yourself that hadn't been damaged in X seconds. In any case, whenever you get a solo kill, you'll end up with a KMDD. The inverse isn't true, though, which you know. And yes, the Ace of Spades is eluding me, too. I get close with 6 kills and then everything falls apart. Honestly, I think it would be more valid for the Ace of Spades to show what mech that you achieved it on because doing it with a Locust is a lot more impressive than doing it with a KDK-3.

I actually got it from the laser vomit Warhammer, of all things. Then a week ago had 10 kills 6 KMDD, was closing in on the 11th and 12th, my unitmate in a SadCat swooped in with Masc and SRMs and took them right under my nose. In the same Warhammer vomit build. I raged all night.

You can get them all in assaults too.

Solo Kill = Kill Most Damage Dealt + Killing Blow.

You can get KMDD without actually killing the mech, and you can get a Killing Blow without getting KMDD.

They should make a new achievment based on the number of KMDD's done without a kill. Greater the number = greater level of thievery going on.
