Yup, my fairly fresh IS account had to unlock it after getting from the grab bag as well.

Now he has 1 X Radar Deprivation, 1 x Advanced Zoom and soon to be garbage Seismic Sensor. Moving on up, baby!

PGI really should change the challenge so bag #100 is always the Grand Prize, unless you got it earlier. So many of these challenges leave players burned out and pissed off.

I didn't get the grand prize the last two times. Now I have opened about 47 bags and still didn't get it. Wanna bet that my "lucky srreak" continues?

50 redemptions, no Grand Prize.

During that Challenge when the Timber Wolf was the Grand Prize I had 230 redemptions - including buying a Mech Pack for the additional 25 redemptions - and I still didn't get it.

I guess I'm just not lucky with Loot Bags.

I wish the 100th pull would definitely win you the prize, if you didn't get it previously.

I complain when things are done badly, but complaining about free stuff is seriously tacky and entitled.

I can see that but IMO free is bonus, not entitlement. You go in knowing how it works. And I also didn't get the TBR-C(C) in nearly full number of drops and when these used to include mech bays I never, ever pulled a mech bay. Ah, well. I got the grand on pull 50 this time.

So apparently you get all three "grand prize items" as one draw. And here I was starting to get worried at 70 draws ...
Meh grand prize is meh tho, you get way more in terms of value in MC, already got about 3 mechbays worth of em, seems like drop rate for MC packages is increased.

That's been my experience too but not of a couple other people I talked to. Random is random I think.

I got the grand prize on the very first bag. Made me wonder if PGI just dished it out to everybody on their first bag so nobody gets upset, but I guess not.

It only saves you the 6 million c-bills to purchase the module itself, it does not auto-unlock the skill.

EDIT: I got it out of some of my pre-order bonus pulls. Was sitting there, like, "What am I gonna do with another 400XL? I have all the Battlemasters I need..." Then I realized that I could at least see what happens when you squeeze one into a Cyclops, so we'll see how that works out.

I got it on my first open. Quit playing then because I just wanted the cbills for selling the engine. Wish I could sell the mech bay too. Radar derp means I have 16 mechs running that module now.

Got the grand prize on my 12th redemption.

Still did well over 75 for the TBR C (C) and didn't win that damn thing.

I already have a 400XL collecting dust. I refuse to sell engines because you NEVER know when something is suddenly going to come into style.

Mechbay and Radar Dep is nice, kind of like winning the CN9 that they gave away a while back that I already had.

More than half my BattleMasters run 400XLs. Dunno if being a super-heavy skirmisher is your style or not, but the BLRs do it better than most.
