Unless the patch removes the damage indicator and sound fx people will know when they are being hit.

Side by side to make the point a little more clear.

You do know that mechs shown in the mechlab are not at true scale.

So what you have there is a picture of a Wolfhound next to a picture of a Catapult with out equal scaling between them.

The scale is good, but it's a perspective camera

Well this is comparing the orthographic views.

Will certainly make Cat hunting in the Wolfhound interesting. Going to have to take my Wolfy out on the 21st. Std engine might even be a good choice.

The mechbay scene doesn't magically change either, only thing that may change is how close the camera is, which while it may make things looks bigger, everything will still be relative to the mechbay scene. ie the scaffold behind the mech is basically a height gauge.

And since there isn't an ortho view in the game, or any game I can think of, it's actually more acurate representation of how **** looks in game than orthos silhouettes.

If you're even considering a STD in a light, that's a crap light.

Everyone's crying bitter tears for the poor Wolfhounds despite the fact that they were some of the least popular mechs in the least popular weight class. I'm sure the 8 people who played Wolfhounds before will be devastated by this new change.

The only thing that matters is this:

The new Wolfhound finally has the right size to reenact the Battletech cartoons. It never felt right when they barely reached the knees of a Summoner.
