Obviously one makes pina coladas and the other makes margaritas.

Speak for yourself. The ones on mine do the laundry. Think of the potential of long-distance scouting missions.

Jokes aside, and sarcasm, it is 45 Tons, as confirmed from the Preorder page.

Hope they see Monday, else I'll have to tell Tina tomorrow. How embarrassing.

Surprising how this got through PGI's quality control.

Thanks. I was drinking that coffee.

Or...there could be hamsters inside those cockpit wheels to spin turbines as a backup power source in case the reactor goes critical.

size as in height isn't that much of an issue only when it coles form the hardpoint to top relation, how wide a mech is is more important because twisting and shots on the move happen on that horizontally axis. and the hawk has quite a nice and slim body making it having a fine geometry

Since Russ told us we should be grateful to him for even creating this game in the first place. I mean, a great QA/QC team is essential towards creating such a great game in the first place, thus ensuring lots of happy customers.

Russ also said we should be grateful because they get to pick who gets the next MWO rights too...

all this time I thought I was defending a 45 ton Mech, turns out it's a 40 tonner, according to this video. It's definitely too big for 40 tons.

On the bright side... those long laser barrels on the gun pod look mighty nice, no?

also like the homage to Skull Leader Marik paintjob.

But am curious why I have tires spinning inside my cockpit and oil filters in the ceiling....

sheesh they can put revolving spheres in the cockpit, but they can't put the iconic large laser in a round sleeve ?

Another Classic P.G.I screw up, advertising the wrong weight.

Yeah Bishop Critically fumbled his sarcasm roll

ROFLMAO!!! Good catch Bishop, PGI dropped the ball there.. Released a video without even checking for typo's.. Brilliant! Yeah PGI guys.. Its a 45 Tonner.. not a 40.. Check for typo's, really guys.

Aside from the typo, I like it, Cockpit looks great and the mech looks good overall, happy with it.

I was pretty sure that the PXH was going to be the same size as the Vindicator. Both humanoid, both 45 ton, both very similar body type.

When I saw the rescale of the Vindicator and how it barely shrunk, I was pretty sure that PGI was going to make the PXH the same size.

The PXH is a fast Vindicator. I'm fine with that though, because I am a glutton for punishment in this game and like playing my Vindis. Now I have a faster Vindi to play with (one with ECM even), so I am happier yet.

They are radar dishes. As if your pilot wasn't warm enough sitting above a fusion reactor, now he can stay even toastier being bombarded with microwaves.

And the cans up top aren't oil filters, but little AMS cannons to shoot down flies that get in the cockpit. It's important because the spinning radar dishes can mutate them and they grow the size of dogs and become carnivorous.

Always need to think ahead you know.

I was stoned, I didn't get that this was sarcasm based on the listing saying 40 and not 45 tons. Don't care to fix it because I still think Bishop is ALL kinds of wrong about the fair, balanced and unbias feature that is volume control

still waiting for a rational explanation of a better unbiased rescale that could actually have been done? Nope? OK then.

Pretty sad when I end up agreeing with Sader over you (not about the rescale, since I have no clue what sader thinks about it)

I haven't decided yet, myself.... there's an odd mix of chunky and gangly to it that I just dunno if I like or not. The Motorcycle helmet is less annoying than my initial impression, though I would still prefer a narrower head. It's got wicked thunder thighs, and still worried about those JJ pylons for ST survivability.

While I would prefer the second laser (and missiles) in the vambrace, I am happy they finally listened to the Anti-Stubby QQ and made the "pistol" more of a Carbine (and gave the MDD longer lasers, too)......

So I gotta say, total mixed bag of impression for me, that will probably really depend on how it performs. I have a feeling it'll be the IS Shadow Cat. A real joy to pilot.... less so to actually fight in.

that reminds me.... if I can have giant tires revolving in my PXH cockpit...maybe they can add one of those chinese waterfall "relaxation walls" to the next mech. hearing water trickling in my cockpit would be so calming.....
