I don't remember offhand, but I did increase it from the standard setting.
The stock setting makes it feel like my face is pressed up against the glass lol.

63.
I play on a laptop, so I run it low both so I get better framerate and if I had it any higher I wouldn't be able to see mechs more than 600m away from me.

I keep it at 90 because I've always run games at 90, so it feels right to keep them all the same.

I play at 90, but I have a 21:9 monitor, so it feels right for the extra room and in most mechs first level zoom fills most of my screen with only a bit of side window missing (obviously mileage varies depending on cockpit). Almost anytime I have people watching me in a dogfight I get "Zoom out! Zoom out! You can't see anything". Your FOV while watching someone else != their own FOV.

100 degrees. I can handle the slight fisheye effect, and I value that peripheral vision tremendously. I started with light mechs, so even if I am in an assault I want to be able to see as much as I can. Even if it is just movement way off to the side. Saved my *** several times.

I play at 75... gives me that 'inside the cockpit' feel while keeping my screen clean of side monitors and the like. Seems like a really good setting after some experimentation at 80-100.

Try this read
http://mwo-builds.ne...ckpit-user-cfg/
so by their suggestion for the correct ratio I use:
79 - 1280x720, 1600x900, 1920x1080
and I also have my monitor override my scaling
this does seem to help my perceived hit reg a bit 5-10% by making sure every thing is scaled properly, but way too many variables to be positive.
I have found that with too much wide angle I end up doing all my shooting in zoom 1.

90. Usually anything less then 80 when playing an FPS on PC starts to give me a headache.
