New Forest Colony replacement for the goat path is a 12 lane highway, no notoriously tight fighting place left. I feel the map has been castrated.
It looks more like a place to go on holiday but not a place to fight in.

I found myself rather disappointed with the revisions to Forest Colony.
The goat path has been widened up some which will undoubtedly bring some of the middle of the map back into play.
However, the mountain in B5/C5/D5 remains largely intact. The need to circumvent this mountain and the time it takes to do so is largely responsible for the top third or so of the map being largely ignored in Quickplay. (the fact that there are data beacons scattered throughout it, plus smaller #of players in a match mean it is less ignored in Scouing).
Was really hoping this would be addressed.

I haven't even seen it come up in rotation to be picked yet... still. Is it even really there?

The original deserves a place in map rotation. The redone and then revised version just isn't as good. Yes the map is larger but 90% wasted space. All the fighting ends up in same 2 spots.
