or how do you see now the red warnings in the new minimap ?

Yes but I guess its harder to see on the new zoomed out mini map.

I hate it.

I hate everything about the new minimap.

I'm ready to flip tables and start setting **** on fire.

johnny, sry bro... but did you see the current pic of minimap ? Dont tell me, you will be able to recognize, direction, placement and movement of such mech..... Posted Image

Well, I guess you'll just have to start using sound to figure that out. You know like we did in the old days.

Doesn't seismic sensor technically do this already? Cause sound traveling through a solid is a vibration :P

Seismic wallhax should never have been in this game to begin with. If it gets nerfed: good.

However, when PGI implements zoom for the mini-map, this will be a non issue. And seismic wallhax will be back.

Hooray training wheels! Heavy mechs master race. Let's do everything to take advantages away from those OP light mechs.

No. Seismic is only approximately 90% useless, like the other modules.

so the only bit of information warfare module should be gone? I think this will be mostly for the happiness of those small mech pilots because they like to suprise jump in front of assaults in their now rescaled bigger more epic threatening looking mechs to scare those assaults away.

There will probably still be a little red dot, it'll just be harder to place exact location based on it.

The new minimap sucks, though. In a game that was supposedly going in the sim direction, it's counter-intuitive and unrealistic. The 'zoom' function that is 'being considered' needs to make it in-game relatively soon.

zoom functon doesnt solve this nonsense. Thy only way is put back old one, and this new one as OPTIONAL.

To me seismic became useless long ago when it stopped working while you were moving yourself. Nowadays all my mechs just have a UAV. If I have suspicion of mechs nearby I just chuck it up in the air.
