I have been looking over the Phoenix Hawk Quirks and comparing them to other mechs of the same tonnage and I have found there are many mechs that are 45 tons with far better quirks than the Phoenix Hawk. The Vindicator has far more structure bonus.......even the Shadow Cat Prime seems to have the same amount if not better quirks than the Phoenix Hawk....

Quirks are what they are, they'll get revisited, whenever. The crime is when the quirks on the Hero are screwed with, that's just plain rude being their cost. There should really be some hard and fast rules for changing a Hero on someone who paid for what they thought they were getting. I disagree with "tweaking" hero mechs unless they are obviously OP, which NONE are.

I would disagree on that solely for the Oxide...that little ******* is OP as hell

I haven't played this many matches without arms and weapons since I purchased the Mist Lynx, without quirks.

Yen Lo Wang gets 16 additional armour in the right arm. The Phoenix Hawk gets nothing? C'mon, Jack. Enemies are shooting my arms off from 1 kilometer away.

I'd be tempted by the refund, the arm hit boxes are huge and as such the arms just fall off leaving you weaponless/useless

This was easily foreseeable just by looking at the Mech, hence why I have not bought it yet even though I really want to for nostalgia's sake. I personally try not to preorder Mechs anymore and I instead wait until they are out for CBills, because by then they have been nerfed / requirked and balanced out and it is easier to determine if they are worth buying (not to mention, you can still buy the packs later if you like the Mech).

I actually like my Phoenix Hawks a lot. They are bigger targets than all IS 50 tonners and equal or larger than 55 tonners, their quirks are terrible and they were overpriced but....nostalgia! They are fun mechs to play, hardly bad by any standard. I wish quirks would just be gotten rid of across the board.

I suggest you stop buying IS Mechs if all you shop for is Quirks. Buy Clan Mechs, many have no quirks by default so you don't have to worry much about bad quirks.

Can I suggest Hellbringers?
