I am just going to say: 6xSRM4, STD 300. Played two matches yesterday and that thing is hard to kill, my destroyed mech had two legs, one side torso and the head, the enemy had to blow up everything else to kill me.

But seriously, a crutch is the most literal analogy I can draw with the arrow.

PGI mauled my minimap, so I had to get crutches so I can continue to play (ie walk). It's just a fact, when you get maimed, you need crutches.

Should not make fun of people who use crutches

Given where map size and SRM spread are at the moment, I having trouble seeing anything that boats them defining a gameplay "meta". It was different three years ago when they grouped tight out to 200m, most long ranged weapons sucked and had terrible hit detection problems, splash damage was broken and gave multiplicative bonuses, and most maps were small. Now SRM boats are more of a joke killer build.

Would be better with SRM4s and more heatsinks, maybe artemis if you have the tonnage. You're getting so much splash with that setup and firing 3xSRM6 at the same time with no artemis.
