I am fully prepared to believe this is a wetware problem, not a hardware problem, but I still can't get the Jenner-D to perform well in any match since the changes.

Jenner-K is also clearly the worse for wear, and the Jenners in my opinion either need some agility boosts -OR- a comprehensive remodel to address the giant and bugged CT location.

For the record, I think the Oxide still needs its structure quirks shaved, but in the current environment they are propping it up to the detriment of the entire chassis line.

But the rescale isn't a total loss - I find my Panthers are working better, and Ravens are still Ravens. I do think Locusts have gone easy-mode a bit, but I laughed myself sore roaming around underwater in Crimson Strait.

That mini-map gave me cancer though.... I think they are fixing it and I hope so.... Been away for a month and my first night back was tough to say the least.... Also trying to learn new keyboard....

learning to adapt.... it's hard work apparently.... which is funny considering how I know many people still literally just playign business as usual in their Lights, getting the same results as usual. Though Locusts definitely got a buff.

Yes learning to adapt and hard work are what lights are used to. Now if only the heavies and assaults had to walk a few miles in our shoe perhaps they would truly understand hard mode

My view of the rescale affect on 35 ton mechs: I used to like My Wolfhound-1 when I wanted a good light for QP. XL 315, max armor and 5 ML. It was like a Locust but a lot tougher. Lot of fun. Now though, I see no reason to ever touch that mech (as it is currently configured) ever again. The diminutive size of the Locust trumps the extra armor of the WLF. Not saying the WLF is a total loss, just that the rescale will force me to reevaluate and likely rebuild a lot of mechs for different purposes than what I had used them for before the rescale.

I went and watched the queue percentages for NA for each class. I saw the Light queue drop to 2%! OMG, I thought, the Light pilots were right. The Light class is dead since the re-scale. Oh, but then it went up to 22% a few seconds later. Most of the time it hovered between 9-15%. Mediums went from a low of 19% to a high of 35%. Heavy was the only class that never dropped below 30% and the high for it was 39%. Assaults went from a high of 33% down to a low of 9%. That was over a 20 minute period. From memory, this does not seem much different from when I played the Summer Solstice event prior to Patch Tuesday.

I know this is not very scientific but it seems like the prediction that the Light class was destroyed by the re-scale was a bit unfounded. The Light Meta may have shifted but the class is far from dead.

Now I want that 20 minutes of my life back.

this is true.

And some robots will end up being bad.

Which oddly enough is exactly what we had before the rescale, too.

Lights are fine, did nothing but Wolfhound yesterday, they are as good. I also saw other wolfhound raven foxys ach(duh) lct(duhuh). The biggest if not only threat to lights were the srm bombers and they are nowhere to be seen now.

*confirmation bias land*
The only discernible difference from the resize are that a big swat of lrm will hurt your light much more. Or i got unlucky with lrm, you know about confirmation bias..
