My usual ping to Oceanic server is 300+ms. But yesterday it was mere 197ms, less than NA server. So I am guessing something did happen to the server.

Time to destroy some Aussies, I reckon.

For the last few weeks my ping has been wildly swinging from the usual 130ms US / 30ms EU, to 1000ms up to 6000ms. Pinging the MWO servers gives reasonable returns, but sadly the random lag spikes in-game makes matches unplayable two times out of three. It's like walking around a gallery of robot paintings, where you die at random because a picture of a robot shot you 20 seconds earlier.
