Which heroic mechs do I have to stick with for tomorrow's "Bring the Heat" tournament?

The Phoenix Hawk's "Roc" or "Kuroi Kiri" heroic variant?

Neither. Get a Vindicator. It's slightly better.

(Jokes aside, I'd say Roc, but try both.)

Roc is probably the better mech, but there'll probably be less competition in the KK bracket. So go with whatever appeals to you more.

Whenever I can to put a lot of punch with either one of them.

Vindis are good at thoughness and more/ varied weapons spread among torso and arms. The PH are the opposite, its faster, better hiboxes but with more arm weapons. Choose the mech that fits your playstyle.

Toughness in a 45 ton mech? One could argue that superior hitboxes and agility aid ones durability, but that's a discussion for another thread. I'm glad, however, that the Vindicator is considered more often now.

Neither. For the love of God.

But the Kuroi Kiri is probably less terrible, because it doesn't rely on getting into brawls with papier mâché arms.

Unless you wanna go brawl and taking people's kills with no jump-jets along with Ferro Fibrous upgrade to keep you alive throughout the match.

Don't bother? The only thing that matters is grinding enough matches to get 10 really really good ones. So... it's not a measure of skill so much as a measure of being unemployed.

Are the standard variants better than either of the Heroes then?

I'm thinking Kuroi Kiri is just because you have to rely on all four of your pulse laser weapons just to reck them in the engine and such.

It is interesting that Paul Masters Mechs are all being released at the same time. First the Phoenix Hawk, then the Huntsman. Now we need the Anvil (and Hammer) to complete the package.

For the Captain-General.

If the Phoenix Hawk is any indication of Paul Master Mechs, then the Huntsman, Anvil and Hammer are DOA. DO NOT PRE ORDER!
