Heya all,

Allways having been a mechwarrior / battletech fan and also beeing an avid wargamer and scale modeler i was wondering what the actual size in meters of a Nova is.

I cant seem to find any documentation listing this.
I need the size to scratch build a 28mm (1/56 abouts) Nova.

Depends on if you are looking CBT or MWO for scale..

CBT Atlas is 12m
MWO Atlas is 18m

A Nova is about half the height, but just as, if not more wide than the Atlas.

Weight doesn't equal dimension.

You can't say, a Nova is roughly half of an Atlas. If you shrink every dimension of an Atlas to 80% of the original value, the weight is 51, 2% of the original.
Here is how: 0.8*0.8*0.8=0.512

To the OP: MWO and BT sizes are vastly different. But part of the resize patch in June was a nice picture:

Never said it does, I'm going by the art work, I would venture to say that the Nova should be around 7-8m in height, enough for it to still be hit if behind level 1 height (6m). yet still not as tall as an Atlas.

The Nova on this old size comparison chart is 8.3m. The offical Omnimech image gallery is using this scale.
