If you can't remember the first one you've ever fired, just say your favorite, or both if you remember.

The first I remember was when I first chose a champion blackjack. before the clans and right amid the toxic forums (which, thank God I wasn't there to sit and watch much).

I dropped with the 3 ML and AC/20 on canyon network.

And when I saw another enemy mech for the first time.

I clicked.


"BOOM!" It went as the round smacked into the side of the other mech.

And then the rest is history

But, my all time favorite has to be the Clan UAC/10. Reliable tonnage, reliable heat and manageable cool down and ammo. in my case that it. (favorite IS weapon has got to be Large Pulse, the wubz are fun )


Again, first weapon you ever fired or favorite weapon?

Idk my first weapon- but i am going to guess it was a medium laser since its such a common weapon in the inner sphere.

But my favorite weapon is gauss...

My first match back in late May, 2012, Closed Beta. Used a trial AWS-8Q. PPCs. Boy people think hit reg sucks now? Got my butt handed to me.

Favorite? AC10s. And the meta crowd can suck it.

The first used in a mech I owned was the medium laser. I remember because my first purchase was the SDR-5V.

I wish it would get the torso pitch quirk it needs. *sigh*

Very similar story, was either the ML on my Founders cat or the ML on my founders jenner.

As soon as I finished fooling around with builds and settled in I graduated to the PPC. Been my faithful favorite ever since.

The SRM, LPL, and AC20 have been my three stand-by weapons for as long as I can remember, but in all honesty I suspect the very first weapon I used was the humble ML (probably in my Founders Atlas).

The first I remember? Way back in closed beta, I went ahead and grabbed a Cicada, slapped an ERPPC on it and two MLas. Couldn't hit crap due to poor hit detection back in the day, yet I recall scoring a headshot on a catapult across the map on old Forest Colony. Didn't kill him, but made me giggle.

First Closed Beta drop... My worthless beloved Atlas.

I dropped on Colony, got red-eye sniped from across the map. I lumbered over to the offending enemy (Think it was another Atlas if my memory serves me correctly)... and dropped AC/20 in HIS eye.

Man, seems forever ago. Awesome graphics, IK, red-eyed monsters, no weapon grouping and meta was not yet "a word" used around these parts.

Sigh... Those were the days.

First mech I got is my Founder Hunchback 4G, so it is the ML and AC20 for me.
However, I have since gravitated to AC10/cUAC10 and PPC/erPPC.

AC20 in TT on Hunchback 4G. Always seemed to miss with it but the Hunchy is still my favorite mech.
Same in MWO, but I hit more now!

Gauss rifle in the trial Dragon, the one with large lasers, this was after charge mechanic was added, still a lot of fun.

It was the first mech I drove in MWO.

I'm a Steambirth player, my first Mech and first weapon to use are Trial Jenner with 6 Medium Lasers. I usually use it as Speedy Backstabber.

My favorite weapon currently is IS Large Pulse Laser. I know it's a bit Meta but it's personal preferences.

Still remember my 1st weapon choice..and my 1st build....My 1st weapon and still my favorit was the cLPL
It was also my preferd weapon for one of my favorit TT mechs..the clan rifleman.

My Fatlas-D with 2xUAC5s + 2xASRM6 + 2xLLasers. To think that back then a 100 tonner with 300 rating engine was not considered too slow...

I still recall that I was unimpressed with the cerMedium Lasers of Raven-3L (trials) and am comfortable to perform alpha spamming 4xcuac10 in the KDK-3.
