I think this is the first omnimech hero right?

But what makes the Pakhet special? It doesn't have special equipment like ECM, MASC, or whatever. And if you want to say it has unique hardpoints.... well... it's an omnimech, right?

So how will this work? If we feel like 30% c-bill bonus is negligible to spending 15 dollars (or wait for c-bill version of the regular mech), can we "assemble" our own Pakhet?

Like can I just buy a prime and buy 4 other omnipods to become a make shift Pakhet? And vice versa, if my Pakhet is outfitted with other omnipods, would I then not be a hero anymore? (well I mean, I understand that the 30% bonus will stay with CT, but as far as other "hero omnipods" go, it will all be gone)

And if all that omni matching is possible, am I looking at a potential 8 missile hardpoints... perhaps a 8x streak4 (32 missiles), much better than Maddog? (6x6 streak = 32 missiles, but longer reload)

Or 5 ballistic mounts?

Or 9 energy hardpoints?

This is starting to look like one of the most versatile omni in terms of number of hardpoints.

Of course, unless I am reading this wrong, and this is actually NOT intended as an omnimech. (but it says, "omnipod hardpoints" and double checking with Sarna confirm the omni status)

Checking FAQ kinda doesn't answer these pressing questions. What you guys think?

NO the Viper will be out before the Huntsman and it has a Hero

You can never get the Hero pods without paying $ (now, or later for MC)

You get one set, period. The CT comes with 30% bonus like the other special variants
A single set of Pods like the current gift variants (Nova D)
