I have some nerf suggestions for over-performing weapons to bring them in line with LRMs:

Pulse Lasers - each pulse should hit a different location a la cone of fire like the MG.

Standard Lasers - beam diameter should widen with distance from target so the beam diffuses to 4-5 components by the time it reaches Peak range.

Autocannons - should be removed from game because heavy metals from the slugs are bad for the environment.

Gauss Rifles - recoil should cause knockdown of the shooter if they are less than 90 tons.

SRMs - Add minimum arming range of 180m to match LRMs.

SSRMs - to emphasize the "only fire when hit is guaranteed" mantra, disable firing if target has AMS equipped.

LBX Autocannons - instead of using linear spread cone, use exponential spread.

Flamers - change exponential heat gain to exponential self-damage to the component that mounts a flamer.

Ultra AC - change jam risk to Ammo Breach risk that replaces jam with ammo-exposions on a per-shell basis.

MG - are in a good spot right now.
