It wasnt so bad when it felt like fair teams but now i seem to drop in games where the twitch team all got pro aim and my team folds with little resistance. Well no more. I dont want to be streamed not just because of teams but also i think it makes my pc unstable and i can crash. Please take it elsewhere

Someone else streaming has absolutely no effect on your computer- they're just recording things on their end. Nothing more.

The other guy streaming has absolutely zero impact on your own performance. All his streaming stuff happens on his end - he's not increasing the MWO game load in any way. Admittedly, I get tired of the 'SMILE! You're on Twitch!' crowd too - no I am not going to watch your damned streams, I'm here to play MechWarrior, not watch some tool I don't know from Adam play MechWarrior - but he's not hurting your performance.

Just your pride, apparently. Which is okay - you'll figure out how to lose that really quick. Everyone does.

The game dont need anyone doing anything to crash or disco. Heres a game for you, when a name mention streaming remember it and as soon as you have him locked spot him with the comorose so he dont disapear from the map instantly and call his letter so the whole team has him lit-up. I dont care for streamers but if they bug you then kill em.

Streaming literally inputs nothing to the server. Your belief is superstition.

It has as much effect on your play as if I'd sat a video camera on my table and took images that way.

Correlation does not imply causation

You're having other issues, related to game stability, Period
Not to do with someone else doing something on HIS PC and connection, but YOUR PC and connection

It's a 3rd party program that captures what happens on his monitor. There's no way it can affect your connection. Those guys are promoting the game and hopefully getting some more players on board, which we desperately need. They're mostly overly polite and almost never arrogant, opposite of the ggclose crowd, so chill out.

Some text book cognitive bias. Streaming and people recording just can't affect anything on your side of a match... well besides your own grip on reality it seems.

Strong case of cognitive bias you have there.

You might want to listen to the rest of the 99.9999999% of forum members on this one. Them streaming does not cause more or less load on the server. If anything it disadvantages them, because they are using more of their personal bandwith to stream and play.

Lets pretend for a moment that streaming does make you crash.

How exactly are you going to stop me from doing it?

Quoting for the record.

On a personal level I get excited when I see a streamer who I know has a following on the other team, so contrary to your post I hope there are even more streamers getting into the pug queue. Spreading the game to a wider audience is a good thing IMO (while watching solitude yesterday a random person came in and asked what game was being played - he had only heard of mw4, so I sent him the mwomercs.com link).

Honestly this is the first time i've seen a negative reaction to streaming like this, can you explain a bit more why you think it ruins your playing experience and hardware?

In solo pugs I bet there are more streamers with potato machines and 3 screens hurting their performance by streaming
