[NZT Limitless]

I just bought the Mech pack offer on steam. I don't really want to do a fresh download as I launch my game through NVIDIA GPU Boost. Is there a way to get the pack I bought into my MWO without installing steam ?.

PGI should be able to side load it... Otherwise you can merge your MWO folder into the Steam directory and then activate it directly.

Aren't steam packs installed via redemption codes?
I am not 100% certain, but i think i just got an email with a code to redeem. I may be wrong though...

Someone else confirm or deny plz

Edit: I personally switched to steam because my download rates are quite awesome with their servers. It's maybe the same for MWO servers, but I trust the Valve's infrastructure which needs to handle WAY more traffic than PGI's more. Settings are shared, so the switch worked like a charm. Unfortunately I now see how many hours i've spent in the client ^^

Short answer is yes. Here is what I got from support when I emailed them a question.

Reply:
Associating Steam Pack purchases with an MWO account requires to log in and redeem the purchase through the MWO steam client:
Steam > Purchase Pack > Launch MWO through Steam > Log in > Redeem content. Once you've redeemed the content and it is tied to your MWO account, you can launch standalone client and play as normal.
