It took me a while to get the 10 invasion wins.
One of those though.......
Both sides load up, doesn't look too bad since both teams look fairly even. It's invasion though, and we are attacking so that's not a good sign.
We begin moving towards the gates, and a child's voice comes over the ingame VOIP. I don't remember what he/she said but my friend and I pretty much rolled our eyes. The player's unit name was like IAM7.
The map is emerald taiga, we open up both gates and are pretty much debating which gate to open. The kid says 'this gate' and goes in ALONE in a battlemaster. We rush in to assist.
We win the first wave because this kid is being super aggressive and taking the brunt of the enemy fire. He/she [i think he, but the kid was so young i don't dare guess the gender] quickly does a 180 away from the center and we follow around the right side and blast enemy mechs going for a flank.
Then he/she does it again, but we pretty much die. But we took down enough mechs that unless we derp things up pretty bad we're going to win.
Every wave was like this. We'd plead for the kid to give us a bit more time to get fresh dudes up to the gate, but he/she would go in and we'd be right behind.
So, a seven year old was leading the drop and we won. I wish I'd taken a screenshot. That kid is a hero in my book.
