[Contrabandit]

Looking for GB unit, no rank structure, competitive skill level.
If I can't find something I'll have to break my loyalty with CGB and look elsewhere, which I'm trying to avoid.

I recommend getting to know the various units and Clans in teamspeak before committing to anything. My unit, the 12th Bear Guard (12BG) is mostly based in the states and welcomes other unit-less people dropping with us. We are in the Clan server on:

STRANAMECHTY.INFO

You might want to check out the Bad News Bears. While they are a mixture of old pilots who have just come back to the game, and fresh new pilots, their main focus is on CW and building up a competitive group, without the complex command structures.

Just an idea.


I feel your pain, and understand exactly what you're looking for. BNB could use a pilot like you. Better to run with an up-and-start group with the focus you have, that may not currently be tier 1, but with the direction they are going, and with help from pilots like you, will be there soon enough.

Well Thanks for the props Feral I would say if CW is you interest and you want to join a CGB unit that is focused on playing Meta and working as a unit come check us out her at the BnB drop with us for a week or two before you bail on Ghost Bear faction check us out at 71.238.177.173 password cgb. Our drop nights are Tuesday 7-10pm central Thursday 7:30-10pm central Friday 7:30-Ceasfire central and Sunday afternoon starting around 3pm till 8or9 central. Our main focus is CW but we always got 1 or 2 droping pug during off hours.(sometimes more). We are small but hoping to grow as far as skill level goes we got bout 7 core pilots tier 1 and tier 2, 4 or 5 tier 3,s then a few new guys still on tier 4 but we don't let anyone drop cw in our unit till they have a tier 1 meta approved drop deck, come check us out we might be just what you are looking for and we could use another good pilot.

BNB is legit, and Deadeye is a top tier DC. They're all great guys and fun as hell to drop with.

I would suggest BNB as well. Much more focus on competitive gameplay.

I agree with Jep. Check out the units on Teamspeak (we're also on STRANAMECHTY.INFO). You're welcome to join in some drops with GBKP as well.
Look for Remover of Obstacles, and Ragnar Baron Leiningen both in the US.

Look for Khan Attakhan, myself, Sean Kerenskov in the Oceanic (Australian) timezone if you want to play early morning US times.

Snikit for European times.

We're laid back in our unit, and we have some top notch pilots.

sorry for the coms failure lastnight contrabandit we host our TS on Yama254's internet and his router was struck by lighting yesterday fried all his **** we have the coms back up I welcome you to come drop with us Tuesday night 7pm central if you are availible

Contra,

CGBI is a pretty solid unit - can be mildly competitive, can be casual if that's what you're looking for, and incorporates lore (if you're into that). Plus, its a great group of nice people to drop with for the most part. I can only say good things about it thus far.

Aphex, Contra has just left CGBI I think he knows what we offer.

Contra, of what I know of the current GB loyalists your best option is BNB, they are still in the process of upskilling though so if you want a team that's competitive straight away maybe not.
