3025 TRO:
Stinger
Wasp
Valkyrie
Crusader
Longbow
Assassin
Vulcan
Charger
3055 TRO:
Hitman
Komodo
Wraith
Daikyu
Gunslinger
Naginata
So quite a few I guess, but let's be honest. It all depends on how amazing Alex manages to make a mech look, really.

Unfortunately, looking at all the recent mech packs, It looks like PGI is out of the making new lights business.

They call that the Long Tom around here.
Although there is a Titan II assault 'Mech in the early 3070's, based off of the Titan from the old Battletechnology magazine. It's not bad, Alex would have a decent design to work up with.

I think they could do it like in the MW4 MekTek mod, basically they made the melee a gauss rifle that didn't need ammo and had like a 40m range.
I think the Centurion is unbalanced (especially Yen) w/ no left arm weaps equipped. Should have a sword in hand there...
Would change up the snipe and lrm, to where pilots charge in more or as last minute backup

A 'Mech actually has attacks even without a melee-specific weapon, assuming they're modeled into the game. Most 'Mechs can punch to some extent, any of them can kick, charge, and if JJ-equipped, DFA. Except this isn't TT, of course. YLW had cosmetic claws, but could obviously punch (and kick).
PGI just fled screaming from the idea of physical contact as a significant force right around when "Goons <3 Paul" was released, as Paul was traumatized for life by being chain-rammed.
That being said, the "melee attacks as very short range "shots" is what you'd have to do, but good luck on that when they can't even model ammo-switching.

It's the only mech I will happily spend money on. There is a small bunch of mechs that never really got any attention throughout all the electronic games. The Devastator is another one.

It should be, however it isn't, and its pretty clear that it's never going to be anything more than what we have.
Question is do those of us that feel varying levels of bitterness, stop spending and help it sink faster, or do we keep the lights on.
Well Cathy, I already "sunk" 800€ in this game .
I helped out enough .
PGI had their chance to deliver, now Im waiting on a proper return of that investment .

A big chuck of our invested money went to the attendance tournament.

Hence why I'm highly unlikely to spend on the line backer, while P.G.I have every right to spend the money they receive any way they like, I also have the right to withdraw support if I don't like how its spent.
Mech con isn't going to revive this game or bring in enough new people to justify it.
Feels more like attending the bedside of a terminally ill relative, than something to bring strength and growth to the community.

My last buy was the Kodiak "full ultra deluxe bananas" pack .
And actually I dont really care how PGI intends to use the money, but I finally would like to see at least more than what we have now, which should be absolutely doable given the amount of money heaped upon PGI up to this time and place .
