whats that going to proof? that the kodiak one of the strongest current mech si doing worse than a NVA or that you just can't handle the kodiak?

Mild ghost heat when firing the 13th laser but no biggie, 22 DHS is great for a medium.

You could always carry a flamer or two instead but I don't like them.

That said, short of reducing the weapon quirks or removing the structure quirks, there is no way to reign it in. None. Each arm doing 30 dmg? Each arm fired one at a time? All good even under the new theoretical system.

Apply liberal amounts of flamers and they shut down better then most.

You then watch them blow themselves up from overheating, get blown up from long shutdown, and giggle when they complain and curse at you for using a flamer of all things to beat the living snot out of them.
