The 6xSRM6 is probably the best build for the Jenner-IIC variant, but it's also actually not an easy build to use requiring almost completely point blank shots to get full use out of it. Something I'm not sure I expect any new player to be able to accomplish with consistency.

Jenner IIC-3, "Lethality"
4 Small Pulse Lasers
1 Mk. I Targeting Computer
3 Jump Jets
-Endo-Steel structure, Ferro Fibrous armor
-front-faced armor; only 4 in the rear torsos and 6 in the rear center torso
-armor downgraded in the arms and head to account for additional heat sinks
-Speed Tweak will achieve 149 kph
-runs fast, very heat efficient, and makes for an outstanding scout mech, especially if you're going for kills and targeting enemy legs

I prefer the 4 SRM6 to the 6 SRM6 as suggested by Joshua Jay Rodenbaugh.

You sacrifice a bit of Alpha strike for better maneuverability/survivability/longevity:
  • Max sustained DPS drops by only 0.36 to 6.48
  • Cooling Efficiency jumps to 54%
  • 4 Jumpjets (up from 0!) add some much of needed maneuverability
  • An XL280 raises speed to 129.6/139.3
  • An extra half ton of ammo (total 4 tons) combined with the loss of 2 SRM6's allows for much longer engagements
These builds are best when you can maneuver to hit the enemies back at point blank range, sometimes even using the target as a shield against incoming counter-fire from other mechs (they can't hit you without risking hitting their teammate). This requires speed and maneuverability, for which Jumpjets can be key.

I'm surprised we haven't seen a 6xSRM4 Build yet.

So here it is with an XL280, Endo & Ferro, 1DHS and 3JJ. (I run mine faster and hotter but this would be more forgiving for new players)

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...15d46fbd9d1afff

and I use 3 weapon groups;

1: 3 on the left
2: 3 on the right.
3: Arm mounted

JR7-IIC-3

Only two fire groups, still faster than most IS Jenners, good armor, decent heat efficiency. Left off Artemis and TAG because when circle/dancing around another mech, you want the full spread of the SRM6s to maximize your hit chances.

My favorite build for a good light pilot. This build has enough ammo that you can last through the whole 12v12 match.

- 6xSRM4
- 5.5 tons of ammo
- XL295
- 1 Jump Jet

The 4 SRM 4 launchers give this variant a substantial alpha strike while having good cooling efficiency and a high top speed of 145.8 kph without the speed tweak. The NARC beacon is added for the player to practice scouting and by providing a target for the team's LRMS.

I use the previously mentioned 6x6 and 4x6 srm builds, bit of a 1 trick pony and as previously mentioned must be point blank and the armor is weak so they'll likely be frustrating for new players to try to use.

Here's my old "Akillius" build for the JR7-IIC-3
Uses 4 Medium Lasers and 2x6SRMs for backup or point blank shots.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f4789265702929f

Using 4x Small Pulse lasers work just as well imo.
